China’s electric motor industry has experienced the stages of reliance on imports,the introduction of technology,independent innovation,etc.,to transform from weak to strong,from backward to advanced.Market inclusiveness is increasing,and the number of electric machine enterprises are rising yearly.In the face of an unstable,uncertain,complex,and ambiguous environmental background,the survival pressure of electric machine enterprises has increased sharply.How to break the traditional boundaries and rules,use scientific management methods to stimulate employees’ potential,improve corporate innovation,enhance core competitiveness,and maintain the enterprise’s long-term development has become a significant problem for electric machine enterprises.With the continuous exploration and breakthrough of many electric motor in organizational management,the role of performance management as an essential part of human resources management is becoming increasingly apparent.Performance management can not only help to realize the value of employees but also improve the performance level and add energy to the subsequent development of the enterprise.OKR is a performance management tool for implementing corporate strategies and is currently understood and used by many companies.This paper takes a electric machine enterprise as an example and explores the optimization of performance management in a electric machine enterprise through literature analysis,questionnaires,interviews,and case study methods.Firstly,organize performance management,OKR,and related theories,and lay the theoretical foundation for the subsequent application of OKR.Secondly,data will be collected through questionnaires and interviews,and summarized the problems in the company’s performance management,such as the weak correlation between goals and strategies,unreasonable indicator settings,and formal monitoring,and further explored the causes.Eventually,OKR was introduced to design and optimize the performance management of company A in response to the above problems.It helps the company clarify its goals and promote strategic implementation,helps departments improve their responsibilities,strengthens communication and collaboration,helps to stimulate employees’ potential,and realize personal planning.By applying OKR in company A,we have found an effective way to conduct performance management in electric machinery companies.To improve the efficiency of enterprise organization management,continuously build and improve the competitive ability and competitive advantage to drive the company forward in the desired direction and achieve the expected growth of the company and employees.At the same time,it also serves as a reference for the performance management of the same type of enterprise.
