As the basic industry of China’s economic development,manufacturing industry plays a vital role in participating in international competition and global trade.With the continuous strengthening of global trade barriers,the manufacturing industry,as the cornerstone of industrial development,is also facing an increasingly fierce market competition environment,and the survival pressure of enterprises is increasing.At the same time,China is currently in a critical period of economic restructuring.The increase in labor costs and the stimulation of low cost,high quality and short cycle have made it difficult for most domestic manufacturing enterprises to develop.Facing the severe risk of capital chain breakage,how to improve the core business level of manufacturing enterprises and promote the sustained and healthy development of the industry has become an important issue that needs to be solved urgently.In this paper,the oil fume purifier production line of Company B is selected as the research object,and the method of combining traditional industrial engineering with simulation is selected.The main reasons that lead to the low production efficiency of the production line are found out: obvious bottleneck process,unreasonable operation allocation and nonstandard on-site management.Then,from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives,optimization and simulation analysis are carried out for the imbalance problem of the oil fume purifier production line,and the best optimization scheme to improve the line balance is proposed,and then the safeguard measures of the optimization scheme are proposed based on specific problems.The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1)Determine the root cause of production line imbalance.Combing and summarizing the relevant references about line balance,entering the production site for investigation and collecting relevant data.At the same time,through the results of process analysis and Flexsim simulation modeling,the production process of the existing oil fume purifier production line of Company B was recorded and analyzed in detail,and the problems existing in the production line were analyzed and summarized with the fishbone diagram analysis.(2)Preliminary optimization of line balance.Firstly,5W1 H theory and ECRS principle are selected to improve the whole process of the production line.Secondly,choose the two-handed operation analysis in the action economy principle to analyze and improve the bottleneck process.(3)Combining qualitative and quantitative methods to formulate the final optimization plan.Two 0-1 integer programming models are built for the oil fume purifier production line after the initial optimization,which are solved by Lingo software to further optimize the production line process from multiple angles.Finally,the simulation is performed by Flexsim software to evaluate and analyze the production line after the second improvement and verify the rationality of the two schemes,and the optimal operation arrangement scheme of the production line is obtained.Through the research results,the optimized oil fume purifier production line as a whole has a 19.1%increase in line balance rate,a 45.6% decrease in smoothness index and a 40.6s decrease in takt time as compared with the initial production line,which verifies the effectiveness of the optimization scheme.(4)Establish safeguard measures.In order to maintain the optimization effect,a series of optimization guarantee measures are proposed based on the problems existing in the production line to maintain the balance of the production line to a greater extent.By combining industrial engineering method,Flexsim simulation technology and 0-1integer programming,this paper effectively improves the line balance rate of oil fume purifier products,balances the workload of each station,and reduces the influence of bottleneck process on line balance,thus meeting the current order demand.It provides reasonable suggestions for the optimization and improvement of the production line of oil fume purifier in company B.
