| With the increase of the construction of university libraries and the change of the requirements of college students’ behavior under the education 4.0 mode,informal learning space emerges as the times require.University libraries are an important place for informal learning of teachers and students in colleges and universities.Most of the university libraries that have been placed in informal learning space have problems such as improper physical environment setting,imperfect service facilities setting,unreasonable space ontology setting,and insufficient space atmosphere creation.As a result,the current informal learning space of university libraries cannot meet the diverse needs of users.It is urgent to transform the above four aspects of informal learning space of university libraries through systematic optimization strategies.So as to improve the spatial quality of informal learning space,enrich the user’s spatial experience,and improve the efficiency of the use of internal space in university libraries.This paper defines the scope of informal learning space in university libraries by combing the background of informal learning and clarifying the connotation of informal learning.From the perspective of post occupancy evaluation(POE),this paper collects the current situation data and summarizes the area characteristics,spatial type characteristics and spatial location distribution characteristics of the current situation through field visits to the libraries of many undergraduate public universities in Xi ’an.At the same time,in the process of investigation,the optimization demand factors of users are collected through questionnaires,and the evaluation system of POE of informal learning space in Xi’an University Library is preliminarily constructed by combining the existing research results.With the help and guidance of experts and scholars,architects and students,an evaluation system of 48 evaluation index factors is finally formed with six levels of independent room,traffic space,hall space,courtyard space,outdoor platform space and other functional space as the criterion layer.Through the application of analytic hierarchy process and related professional software,the corresponding weight value is obtained.Through the post-use evaluation questionnaire data collection of the informal learning space of three representative university libraries in Xi ’an,Yanta Campus of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology,South Campus of Xi ’an University of Electronic Science and Technology,and Chang ’an Campus of Northwest University of Technology,and based on its satisfaction evaluation,this paper analyzes the advantages and problems of its internal space design,and probes into its internal reasons.At the same time,combined with the excellent cases of university libraries at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the optimization strategies suitable for the informal learning space of university libraries from four aspects:physical environment,service facilities,space ontology and space atmosphere,so as to provide optimization reference for the informal learning space design of university libraries in the future. |
