Due to the protection of the original site, most of the earth ruins museums are built in remote suburbs or wilderness areas.Providing the necessary energy sources such as water, heating, and electricity for the ruins museums will face a longer transmission path.Furthermore,as a large space public building, museum buildings have complex functions and also need to meet the requirements of cultural relic protection and thermal and humid environment. Therefore, there is generally serious resource waste,This inevitably leads to more carbon emissions. The Huangye Kiln site is also facing equally severe challenges. In the context of dual carbon goals,it is crucial to control the carbon emissions of buildings from the source during the design phase.China’s building energy conservation standardization work began in the 1980 s,and after40 years of continuous exploration of building energy conservation, from energy-saving buildings to ultra-low energy consumption,near-zero energy consumption, zero energy consumption buildings,China’s building energy conservation work has made remarkable achievements. But for zero-carbon design,it is still in the exploratory stage, especially for earth-rock sites and museums, which are basically in a blank state.Nevertheless, the development of building energy-saving technology still provides a solid foundation for the realization of zero-carbon buildings. Therefore, this paper takes the Huangye Kiln site as the background to analyze and study the feasibility and design results of realizing zero carbon in the Earth Heritage Museum.Firstly, this paper systematically analyzes the policy objectives, theoretical status and practice of zero-carbon buildings in various countries, and defines the scope of this study; This paper combs the research status of the architectural and exhibition space design, thermal and wet environment and energy conservation design of the site museum, and puts forward the necessity of zero-carbon design of the Huangye Kiln Earth Site Museum. Then, based on the investigation and analysis of existing museum buildings, grasp their architectural design and carbon emissions,in order to clarify the research direction of this article.Secondly,on the basis of investigation and analysis, establish the building benchmark model of the Earth Heritage Museum through Designbuilder, select the factors and value range that affect the building carbon emissions by referring to the energy conservation standards and building shape characteristics, and determine the influencing factors that have a greater impact on the building carbon emissions through simulation and analysis, and use orthogonal experiments to determine the influencing factors that have a greater impact on the building carbon emissions,The simulation results of the above orthogonal experiments are analyzed by multiple linear regression in SPSS,and the prediction model of building cooling, heating and comprehensive carbon emission intensity is constructed. In addition, the potential of renewable energy available in Gongyi area is analyzed. In Gongyi area, solar energy, shallow ground energy and other renewable building energy are mainly promoted and applied.Considering that they can be better combined with the heritage buildings and can be directly obtained, solar photovoltaic technology and underground wind technology are proposed. The maximum power generation of photovoltaic power generation modules in the local unit area is estimated by simulation,so as to select a reasonable and efficient photovoltaic panel layout. As far as the tunnel wind technology is concerned, analyze its feasible time period in the local area. Finally, taking the design achievements of the Huangye Kiln Earth Site as an example, starting from reducing carbon sources, increasing "carbon compensation",and implementing "carbon neutrality",specific carbon reduction designs are carried out on the planning, space, enclosure structure, technical measures, and other aspects of the Huangye Kiln Earth Site Museum to meet the requirements of zero carbon architecture.
