Research On The Detailed Design Of Community-Based Home Care Services Facilities In Xi’an Beilin District

With the increasing aging population in recent years,the demand for various elderl y care services has also grown in Xi’an City.To address this situation,the Xi’an municip al government has been investing in the construction of community-based elderly care s ervice facilities since 2010.As of 2019,over 900 community-based elderly care service facilities have been built in the city,and the Beilin District has achieved 100% coverage of elderly care service facilities at the community level.However,as the community-bas ed elderly care service facilities have been gradually put into use,existing facilities have exposed many problems such as inadequate spatial design and lack of accessibility desi gn.Based on the aforementioned issues,it is of practical significance to study targeted refined design strategies to improve the utilization and user experience of existing facilit ies and optimize and enhance the community-based elderly care service facilities in the Beilin District.Firstly,this paper reviews domestic and international research literature and refined design cases to summarize the core content of architectural refinement design and com mon techniques for refined design of elderly care service facilities.Secondly,focusing o n the 98 recorded community-based elderly care service facilities in the Beilin District,t his paper conducts field investigations and communicates with managers and operating organizations to understand the current usage status and existing issues of the facilities.By summarizing the usage status of life support spaces,recreational activity spaces,med ical rehabilitation spaces,and transportation support spaces,the core problems of refined design for community-based elderly care service facilities in the Beilin District are iden tified.Thirdly,combining the theoretical case studies mentioned earlier,this paper propos es design principles for the core problems of refined design in existing facilities from the perspectives of spatial environment,layout,and facility equipment.Based on these prin ciples,refined design strategies for life support spaces,recreational activity spaces,medi cal rehabilitation spaces,and transportation support spaces of community-based elderly care service facilities are summarized.Finally,the design strategies summarized earlier a re applied to the optimization and transformation design of existing facilities in the Beili n District,and the research paper is improved through a combination of theory and pract ice.In summary,this paper analyzes the value of refined design research for community-based elderly care service facilities in the Beilin District through background significan ce analysis.It summarizes the refined techniques for spatial design and detailed design o f elderly care service facilities through basic theoretical research.By conducting field re search,the problems in spatial environment,layout,and accessibility aging of existing fa cilities are analyzed,and targeted design strategies are proposed for the four functional s paces of community-based elderly care service facilities in the Beilin District.The comb ination of design practice and theoretical research provides reference for the refined desi gn of community-based elderly care service facilities in the Beilin District.
