Research On Logistics Efficiency Evaluation Of Qinhuangdao Port

Against the background of global economic integration and deepening international trade cooperation,China’s logistics industry has developed rapidly,which has led to a significant increase in port logistics development rate.The port is the main hub of domestic and international freight transport and transit.The good development of port logistics is not only beneficial to the continuous improvement of China’s maritime transport industry,but also helps to construct the new pattern of domestic and international "double cycle".Therefore,this thesis evaluates and analyzes the efficiency of port logistics and finds that it has some problems,which is of great significance to the further optimization of port logistics in China.Based on the above,this thesis analyzes the development of Qinhuangdao Port from four perspectives: introduction,production,infrastructure and policy.However,it is impossible to get a concrete understanding of the logistics efficiency level of Qinhuangdao Port,how to improve the efficient operation of the port,and where to improve it.Based on the availability of index data and the logistics characteristics of qinhuangdao port,this thesis establishes a logistics efficiency evaluation index system of qinhuangdao port,which provides the basis for the later analysis.First,the data of Qinhuangdao Port and 10 listed ports as control sample were calculated using the traditional DEA-BCC model,and the static logistics efficiency of Qinhuangdao Port was analyzed from 2015 to 2020.Secondly,from the three aspects of integrated technology efficiency,scale efficiency and pure technology efficiency,this thesis carries out a comprehensive efficiency analysis of the ports and uses Malmquist index model to evaluate the logistics efficiency of Qinhuangdao Port dynamically.Then the factors affecting the logistics efficiency of Qinhuangdao Port were quantified by using Tobit regression model and using Stata 17 software to estimate the factors affecting the logistics efficiency of Qinhuangdao Port.Finally,according to the present situation of the development of Qinhuangdao Port,combined with the evaluation of logistics efficiency and analysis of influencing factors,this thesis puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of logistics efficiency of Qinhuangdao Port.
