| The traditional settlement is the product of the long evolution,renewal and accumulation of history.It has rich historical and cultural connotations,natural geographical environment and unique spatial features.The street network in the traditional settlement is the skeleton of the whole settlement form,and the spread of the street network shows the organic growth process of the traditional settlement.The formation and development of streets in traditional settlements are limited by the geographical conditions of the location of villages and influenced by industrial and commercial culture,geomantic ideas,customs and clan etiquette,and finally form a street network form different from the city.As the spatial skeleton of traditional settlements,the street network structure bears the historical development and changes of settlements and the design ideas.The street network space can be planned according to clear organizational principles,accompanied by organic evolution over time.Its shape and direction help to define the spatial logical order of the settlement.Therefore,mastering the type and structure of the street network form in traditional settlements and mining the deep connotation of the street network in the settlement with the method of data quantification will be of great help to architects to understand the internal logic of the evolution of traditional settlements over thousands of years and the factors that maintain the vitality of the settlement network space,and will play an important role in the protection planning of traditional settlements.This thesis takes 44 traditional Chinese settlements in Jingxing,Hebei Province as the research object,based on the path route theory,spatial syntax theory,and with the help of mathematical methods such as triangular coordinate statistical map,street polar coordinate histogram,Python programming language,etc.,to deeply and quantitatively study the morphological characteristics of the street network space of traditional settlements.This thesis aims to use quantitative techniques such as path structure and spatial syntax to visually express the traditional settlement street network with abstract historical information.At the same time,the classification and quantitative comparison analysis of various types of traditional settlements are carried out,and the direction entropy is used to measure the degree of chaos in the direction of the streets of the settlements,and the Python programming tool is used to batch process information big data.The new technical method reveals the spatial order of the settlement street network,more intuitively reflects the similarity and difference of the structure of different types of traditional settlement street network,and provides scientific technical support for understanding the outdoor space connotation of traditional settlements.The application of these quantitative analysis techniques can be used in the update of settlement protection as design control parameters and evaluation criteria while providing scientific settlement spatial data. |
