Rammed earth is a common traditional construction material.Rammed earth technology is one of the oldest construction technologies in China.In the context of sustainable development and the return of local culture,rammed earth materials and their construction technology have attracted increasing attention.However,the current research on rammed earth materials and construction applications from the perspective of landscape is still relatively small,and the relevant content still lacks systematic collation and summary,which cannot provide direct and effective guidance for the application of rammed earth in landscape construction.Studying rammed earth materials and their application in landscape can expand the application potential of traditional materials in contemporary landscape,enrich the green construction methods in landscape design,and expand the ecological and local design methods of landscape architects.It is of great practical significance to build a green,low-carbon and sustainable living ecological environment.This thesis takes rammed earth as the object,mainly adopts the method of literature research,case analysis and field investigation,including the development process of rammed earth construction technology,rammed earth materials and construction technology,rammed earth in the landscape application and other aspects of research,and achieved certain results,mainly reflected in the following aspects :(1)Combing the development of rammed earth construction technology in China.The traditional rammed earth construction technology in the history of our country is accompanied by the continuous pursuit of the improvement of the living environment.It has experienced three stages of development from plane ramming to piling and then to engraving.It is mainly used for the construction of ground,city walls and houses.The use of templates,rope bundles,and reduction methods in the rammed earth engraving technology related to the Zhou Dynasty have been very mature,and formed the most primitive engineering specifications.By the Warring States period,a fully mature engraving technology was formed.It has been used until the Ming and Qing Dynasties and has been passed down to the present.(2)Summarized the technical methods and processes of rammed soil construction that are compatible with landscape design.The commonly used material composition of rammed earth mainly involves soil,aggregate and lime.Based on the different strength effect requirements of rammed earth construction and the functional characteristics of the constituent materials,the folk craftsmen have formed different ratio control logics with different emphases.The ratio experience summarized is more practical in actual construction.For the rammed earth wall,the proportion of aggregate and soil is mainly controlled.It can be flexibly selected according to the length and cost of the wall surface.It is generally controlled between 3:1-1:1.For the rammed earth ground,the requirements for wear and compression resistance are higher.Aggregate and hydrated lime become the main components in the ingredients for ratio control,and the commonly used ratio is 5:2.For the details such as the top of the rammed earth wall foundation wall,it is necessary to do a good job in the treatment of the foot,the top and the corner protection.For the structural requirements of the leaky windows and the doors with different shapes in the landscape,the construction methods mainly include the embedded auxiliary opening and the combined beam opening.(3)Summarized the application advantages of rammed soil and its application scenarios in landscape.The application advantages of rammed earth are mainly reflected in four aspects: plasticity,local culture,ecology,and economy.It has broad application prospects in the creation of local landscape,cultural landscape,and ecological landscape.It can be applied to traditional villages,rural parks,heritage parks,memorial gardens,museum parks,botanical gardens,geological parks,natural education bases,and other scenes,Strengthen regional cultural expression and highlight the natural ecological attributes of the site.(4)Summarized the application techniques and forms of rammed soil in landscape.In terms of application techniques,personalized treatment of rammed soil construction can be carried out through four major methods: color,texture patterns,texture expression,and skin presentation,giving rammed soil modeling expressive power.In terms of application forms,various forms such as rammed earth walls,rammed earth benches,rammed earth floors,rammed earth landscape columns,and shaped rammed earth structures can be created by combining shape shaping design.At the same time,through the composite application of rammed earth materials with other materials such as stone,wood,metal,glass,and acrylic,the contrast and contrast between materials can be utilized,and the supporting role of materials such as wood and metal can be used to enrich the space for rammed earth creation and design,To compensate for the structural performance deficiencies of rammed soil itself,making the structure of rammed soil more flexible and variable in scale,and better meeting the needs of landscape applications.
