Under the influence of the social environment,the increasing promotion of quality-oriented education makes the traditional exam-oriented education concept that attaches importance to academic performance suffer a strong impact.The parents of the post-80 s and post-90 s pay increasingly attention to the cultivation of comprehensive quality.Under the backdrop of this trend,the concept of STEAM education entered our country in 2014 and developed rapidly in the following years.With the support of government policies,STEAM education market has developed rapidly and become the inevitable development trend of future education.Additionally,the disconnection between children and nature caused by the process of modernization has caused many hazards.At the same time,"school gardening" is booming in some developed countries in Europe and the United States.Influenced by it,some domestic schools began to carry out some horticulture courses consciously.Therefore,this study tries to provide solutions that conform to the trend of social development and have market value from the perspective of product design.Therefore,this paper starts from the STEAM concept,and firstly obtains target users’ demands for horticultural products based on the evaluation grid method.Secondly,the analytic network process(ANP)is used to stratify the weight of the demand,and the objective quantitative analysis of the subjective demand is carried out.Then,based on the analysis and discussion of the design principles of STEAM children’s products,combined with the lower item of the evaluation grid method,the final design requirements of this study are summarized.Finally,the fuzzy quality function is used to build the House of Quality for children’s horticultural products,to determine the relationship between user requirements and design requirements,and to calculate the importance of design requirements to determine the key design requirements.Based on the results of the House of Quality,a gardening product for children is designed.Through the combination of Fuzzy Quality Function Deployment(FQFD),Analytic Network Process(ANP)and Miryoku Engineering,this paper takes children’s horticultural products as an example to verify the feasibility of the framework,and provides a basis for the design and optimization of children’s products from the perspective of user needs.At the same time,the applicability of STEAM concept is supplemented to some extent.The research results can also provide design reference and theoretical basis for other such product design.
