With the rapid development of economy and society,China’s metro construction business has also stepped into the stage of high-quality development from high-speed development. The process of subway construction is affected not only by the construction activities themselves, but also by the surface structures and adjacent underground pipelines, which have different degrees of impact on construction safety. These resulting complexities of metro construction increase the uncertainty and pose a serious challenge to the corresponding risk management. At the same time,in the development process of subway construction,a large number of safety accidents have occurred, and these accident cases have not been effectively used, unable to form a systematic theory to guide subway construction activities. The relevant practical experience has not been fully used in the safety management of subway construction, which makes the risk management of subway engineering projects deviate from the actual situation. Therefore, based on the concept that theory comes from practice, this paper analyzes a large number of subway engineering safety accident cases, combines the grounded theory and Grey Correlation Analysis method, and studies the risk management of subway Line 1station project in S City. The main research contents are as follows:Through statistical analysis of 260 collected metro construction accidents, summarize the types and development trends of metro construction accidents and provide original information for the identification of risk factors by Grounded Theory;42 accident cases with comprehensive information were selected among the collected cases, and the programmed Grounded Theory was conducted to identify risk factors and verify their saturation, and a universal conceptual model of subway construction risk factors was constructed;according to the risk conceptual model and the actual hydrogeological and other conditions of the station project of Line 1 in City S,a list of project risk factors was made.Considering that in the actual construction process of underground engineering, the risk factors are correlated and hidden, the correlation between risk factors and risk events and the degree of correlation between risk factors are analyzed by using Gray Correlation Analysis to obtain the correlation degree between core risk factors in the project;the project is evaluated for risk by constructing a fuzzy integrated model, and corresponding risk response and risk control measures are proposed on this basis. This paper concludes that it is necessary to consider the correlation of risk factors in actual projects, and the theory constructed by the case can be used to guide the risk management of metro construction, which can be applied to the engineering practice to improve the risk management level and eliminate the occurrence of safety production accidents from the root as far as possible.
