Rural Elderly Entertainment Product Design Based On Service Design Concept

With the deepening of the degree of aging in China,the attention paid to the elderly in the design field continues to increase,but there are relatively few designs aimed at the needs of the rural elderly,and the design that focuses on the spiritual needs of the rural elderly is even more scarce.This topic takes the rural elderly as the main research object,conducts crowd research,and uses service design concepts to conduct design analysis,attempting to build a solution for rural elderly entertainment products through product services.Firstly,through literature review,the research status of service design and elderly entertainment products is analyzed,and the types and characteristics of rural elderly,elderly entertainment products,and service design concept are studied,and the feasibility of service design applied to rural elderly entertainment product design is proposed;On this basis,through field investigations,questionnaire interviews,and other methods,the entertainment behavior patterns and entertainment needs of rural elderly were preliminarily obtained;Combined with the service design method,three types of rural elderly user portraits were established,and the design element framework of the product was defined according to the user portraits.The product service concept and product service system were established in the way of stakeholders,value proposition canvas and business model canvas;Finally,the determined product design elements and service system will be applied to Tang’an Village for specific design practice,and the feasibility and effectiveness of rural elderly entertainment products will be verified through specific design outputs.Based on the concept of service design and based on the satisfaction of the spiritual needs of the rural elderly,this study uses local resources to produce entertainment products for the elderly through design research,so that the rural elderly can obtain better entertainment services and experience,and expand new ideas for the product design practice of rural elderly users.
