Study On The Strategy And Technical Support For The Full Cycle Of The Conservation And Utilization Of Liyuan Neighborhood In Qingdao

The new round of urban renewal and building renovation project in Qingdao’s historical urban area,which began in 2019,emphasizes more on the preservation and protection of historical and cultural information of buildings and the activation and utilization of the repaired buildings under the vision of "World Heritage Application".Since the end of 2020,the tutor team of the author has undertaken the repair and renovation of six traditional buildings in the historical neighborhood south of Jiaozhou Road and west of Jining Road in Shibei District.The project lasted for two years and has been completed.In view of the new requirements for the protection and activation of architectural historical and cultural information,this project has added more design links and design contents than before.Each building has been repeatedly deepened and modified more than 30 times.Many design works are based on the academic principles of the protection and repair of historical buildings and other urban experience,which is a relatively new attempt in Qingdao history.Throughout the whole process of repair,many innovative practices are worth recording and should be taken into further consideration.The research of this paper is combined with the above engineering practice.First of all,it aims to describe the overall process and finer points of this project in detail.The whole two-year building repair design cycle is summarized as 6 stages: early stage,(historical and use value)evaluating stage,scheme design stage,construction drawing stage,the deepening stage,and site engineering coordination Stages.Secondly,the researcher believes that in face of the "full cycle" design of current historic buidings,the diverse and complicated design processes and engineering links can be simplified by refining them into a number of "strategies" for protection and utilization;At the same time,it is properly regulated through a series of "technical support".The research results include complete process and details as engineering archives,which can be consulted by relevant project designers;At the same time,the refinement of "strategy" and "technical support" in the paper can also be used as a reference for relevant researchers and managers in promoting the renovation of historical buildings in a standardized manner.
