| As historical and cultural cities gradually become hot tourist attractions, and cultural heritage is receiving more and more attention, Dukezong ancient city is attached more and more importance to together with the brand "Shangri-la". Accordingly, the research on art characteristics of ancient architectures is of great significance to the protection and development of ancient cities.Dukezong ancient city, located in the junction of Chin-sha River, Lancang River and Nujiang River, as well as the hart of world natural heritage, is the indispensable part of Tea-Horse Ancient Road and Yunnan-Tibet Expressway. Its unique geographical environment and social mechanisms have given birth to its unique cultural connotation. The social&cultural connotation as well as the extreme cold climate and natural environment with low dam have formed the art characteristics of Dukezong ancient city’s distinctive architectures. In this study, the art characteristics of Dukezong ancient city’s distinctive architectures are researched, the most distinctive traditional images are extracted, then abstracted and concentrated, so that the public can better perceive the ancient city’s charm as well as its historical and cultural values.In this study, Dukezong ancient city’s existing conditions are investigated on site, and then the results are analyzed from three aspects. Firstly, the natural geographical elements and the complex historical and cultural factors that can influence the formation and development of this ancient city’s architectures and their art characteristics are analyzed. Secondly, the art characteristics of Dukezong ancient city’s architectures are discussed from perspectives of architectural space art, architectural modeling art and architectural decoration art, then the three perspectives are summarized, and accordingly the art characteristics of Dukezong ancient city’s architectures are concluded. Finally, the value, protection and future direction of development of are Dukezong ancient city worked out based on the art characteristics concluded above. |
