With the advent of the knowledge economy,the power of knowledge has become more and more prominent,providing an opportunity for the change of engineering project management.Knowledge management has been elevated to the level of national strategy,and the core element of development and progress in the construction industry gradually tends to be "knowledge resources",and controlling "knowledge" becomes a key factor to improve the management level of engineering projects and promote project success.This study innovatively manages engineering project management knowledge from the perspective of whole life cycle and whole elements,and constructs a knowledge management platform,which not only preserves the relationship among knowledge elements,but also integrates knowledge elements in a unified platform and connects them in each stage of the whole life cycle of engineering project management to realize efficient management of knowledge.This study firstly systematically analyzes the external environment of construction industry under the rise of knowledge management and digital era,and the internal status quo of construction industry with the largest amount of data and the least data at the same time,argues the urgency and necessity of engineering project management knowledge management,and reveals the problems of knowledge fragmentation,poor knowledge circulation and lack of unified control platform in engineering project management by combining with literature research.Secondly,the research of theoretical foundation and the definition of related concepts are carried out,and the connotation,characteristics and advantages of knowledge mapping and knowledge chain are analyzed based on mapping theory and guided by PTAG,and the knowledge chain model is established and the process of constructing knowledge mapping is sorted out.Again,based on the "L model",we construct the knowledge management model framework of engineering project management,carry out knowledge chain combing based on the process system,organize and draw the process map of each stage of the whole life cycle of engineering through knowledge acquisition,selection,generation,internalization and externalization;realize the standardized storage of documents based on the element system,carry out knowledge base management,and explore The process of knowledge base formation,knowledge explicit and implicit analysis,and the contents that the knowledge base should contain;analyze 25 elements based on the operation system,sort out their definitions,main contents and core knowledge elements,and draw their role processes;and the support and control system is the basis for constructing the knowledge management platform in the latter part.Finally,the knowledge systematization management application is carried out for WL project,and the construction engineering project management knowledge system mapping and construction engineering project management knowledge chain are established,which not only analyze the engineering project management from the perspective of the whole elements and the whole life cycle,but also implement the specific problems of WL project,and select the elements and stages that are prone to problems in the project for detailed analysis,so as to "achieve the vast and fine and micro".The construction project management knowledge management platform is built to promote the standardized storage of knowledge,the retention of tacit knowledge,the search and positioning of knowledge and the communication of project-related parties.The main results of the paper are: a framework,a model,two tables,a diagram,a platform and several processes,which constitute the "11211X" system of engineering project management and are sufficient to guide the knowledge management of engineering project management.It is of great significance in goal achievement,schedule control,cost saving,communication,etc.It promotes the improvement of engineering project management,guides the actual project construction,realizes the project success,taps the knowledge value of the project and maximizes the project value.
