The linear riverside public space formed by urban riverside greenways has become a popular and closely connected public leisure place with residents’ lives, carrying the needs of residents’ recreational activities.Riverside greenways improve people’s opportunities to perceive nature in the city and are of great significance for improving public health. However, the restorative value of riverside greenways has not been fully utilized at present, and there is little research exploring the path of environmental restoration awareness of riverside greenways under the influence of residents’ behavior. This thesis follows the research framework of "posing questions-literature reviewfield investigation-establishing scales-mechanism hypothesis-model validation-proposing strategies",and introduces the behavior patterns of urban residents in greenways as intermediary variables into the model of environmental characteristics promoting residents’ restoration of awareness.Firstly, based on on-site investigations of three urban riverside greenways in Yibin city,a scale of environmental characteristics and behavioral activities for urban riverside greenways is proposed;Secondly, establish a theoretical model composed of environmental cognition, behavioral activities, and perceived outcomes; After verifying the reliability of the scale through 119 pre experimental questionnaires,446 formal questionnaires were collected. The questionnaire results were analyzed using the AMOS structural equation model and hypotheses were validated.Afterwards,30 participants went to the field scene to conduct three different behaviors to verify the restoration effect of the Riverside Greenway on human physical and mental health;Based on the above research,a strategy for optimizing the restoration environment of riverside greenways is proposed. The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The environmental characteristics of urban riverside greenways include four dimensions, namely green features, travel path features, node and station features, and facility features. The most perceived feature by residents is the travel path feature, with an average score of 5.79;The behavioral activities of residents include three modes, namely dynamic behavior, static behavior, and through behavior. The most common behavior among residents is through behavior, with an average score of 5.70.(2)In the restorative environmental perception mechanism model of urban riverside greenways, the AMOS calculation results show that the total effect coefficient of environmental characteristics on restoration perception is 0.849.In terms of direct effect coefficient, the environmental feature dimension of path characteristics(0.176)>green features(0.146)>node and station features(0.124),and the direct effect of facility features is not significant; The dimension of behavioral activity is static behavior(0.190)>dynamic behavior(0.176)>transitive behavior(0.161),with a total of 52.6% having direct effects. In terms of the coefficient of indirect effects, all three behaviors played a mediating role in the model, with dynamic behavior(0.139)>through behavior(0.134)>static behavior(0.129),accounting for a total of 47.4% of indirect effects.(3)The facility activities in the urban riverside greenway(systolic blood pressure[t=5.08**],diastolic blood pressure [t=2.65**],pulse [t=0.78]),sitting(systolic blood pressure [t=8.42**],diastolic blood pressure [t=1.61],pulse [t=6.86**]),and walking(systolic blood pressure [t=6.36**],diastolic blood pressure [t=1.73],pulse [t=4.54**])improved the physiological indicators of the subjects to some extent; In terms of psychological indicators, facility activities(positive emotions [t=-4.10**],negative emotions [t=3.34**]),sitting(positive emotions [t=-2.85**],negative emotions[t=3.37**]),and walking(positive emotions [t=-4.11**],negative emotions [t=3.47*])all increase positive emotions and decrease negative emotions, verifying the restorative effect of urban riverside greenways on people’s physical and mental health.(4)Based on the mechanism of action of the structural equation model, the behavior of residents, and key environmental impact factors, propose a restorative spatial optimal model suitable for three behaviors.Dynamic behavioral restorative spaces include facility activities, venue activities, and hydrophilic activity spaces;Static behavioral restorative space includes relaxing thinking, contacting nature, and social interaction space;Restoring sexual space through sexual behavior includes hydrophilic paths, waterfront paths, and hydrophobic paths in the forest path space. |
