The widespread use of emerging technologies has given rise to new business models in various industries and put pressure on the global supply chain.In this context,most ports have started to smarten their transformation,adopting emerging technologies to improve their operational efficiency,while taking measures to address the challenges posed by port security and sustainability,and pursuing sustainable improvements in efficiency.However,the huge initial investment has become an obstacle to the development of port smartness,and in order to promote sustainable growth in the level of port smartness,ports need to make effective decisions.Existing studies have mainly focused on the application of emerging technologies and the optimization of port operational aspects,with few empirical studies exploring the different roles played by the subsystems in the overall port system.Therefore,this study identifies the factors that drive the level of port smart from a system perspective and investigates the interactions among the factors in the port system,so as to provide economic solution strategies for the next step of port smart development,and the results can guide port enterprises to effectively improve their smart level.In this thesis,through literature combing and interviews with experts,and combined with the port operation process,a comprehensive identification and screening of the port’s smart factors from the perspective of the port system is conducted,and finally 16 smart factors are identified from three aspects: smart operating system,smart information platform and smart management system.The expert scoring method is used to collect data,and the accuracy of expert scoring is improved by combining triangular fuzzy number with decision making test and evaluation laboratory method(DEMATEL)to obtain the causal relationship between factors,the influence degree,influenced degree,centrality degree and cause degree of each factor.The inter-influence relationships were then analyzed by combining the Adversarial Interpretive Structure Model(AISM)method,and the identified smart factors were divided into five levels,and the multi-level progressive explanatory structure model was drawn to identify the surface smart factors,the transitional smart factors and the root smart factors.The main conclusions drawn in this thesis are as follows:(1)The smart knowledge level of port personnel is the most fundamental factor for the improvement of port wisdom level.(2)The ability of emergency response and security management has a direct impact on the development of port wisdom.(3)The electronic processing of business and the sharing of logistics service information are located in the transitional layer of the hierarchy,indicating that these two factors not only have an impact on the surface factors,but are also influenced by the root factors.This study can improve the understanding of the port wisdom system,clarify the mutual influence path between the wisdom factors,more effectively help the port improve the smart level and effectively promote the smart development of the port.
