Effect Of Nano Selenium On The Growth And Nutritional Components Of Chrysanthemum Morifolium ‘Ruhe’

Abstract/Summary:
Chrysanthemum morifolium ‘Ruhe’ is a kind of plant with great application prospect in Shanxi Province.Selenium is a necessary trace element for human body and plant.Selenium intake in Chinese population is generally insufficient,selenium rich food is relatively safe for human body and high selenium supplement efficiency,which is the best way to supplement selenium.Nano selenium is a new selenium fertilizer with excellent characteristics.At present,there is little research on Chrysanthemum morifolium ‘Ruhe’ and nano selenium.In this study,the leaves of Chrysanthemum morifolium ‘Ruhe’ were sprayed with nano selenium of different concentrations(0,13,26,39,52,65 mg· hm-2)to explore the appropriate selenium concentration of selenium rich in Chrysanthemum morifolium ‘Ruhe’.The results showed that:(1)the POD activity of plant was significantly enhanced by N2(26 mg· hm-2)and N3(39 mg· hm-2)treatment.N3 and N4(52 mg· hm-2)treatment could significantly enhance the soluble sugar content,N1 treatment could significantly reduce malondialdehyde content(P < 0.05).(2)N2 treatment made the total chlorophyll content,chlorophyll a content,net photosynthetic rate,transpiration rate and stomatal conductance of plant leaves achieve good results,while the intercellular CO2 concentration was not affected by selenium treatment.(3)N3 treatment could significantly promote the dry weight and yield per hectare of single flower(P < 0.05).(4)The content of flavonoids and chlorogenic acid in Chrysanthemum morifolium ‘Ruhe’ inflorescence was significantly affected by nano selenium treatment(P < 0.05).Among them,N2 and N3 treatment had the best effect on flavonoid content of Chrysanthemum morifolium ‘Ruhe’,and all nano selenium treatments significantly promoted the chlorogenic acid content of Chrysanthemum morifolium ‘Ruhe’.(5)The content of iron,zinc and selenium in plant inflorescence was significantly affected by nano selenium treatment(P < 0.05).The maximum selenium and iron content can be reached under N3 treatment,of which the maximum selenium content is 0.3327 mg· kg-1,which meets the selenium rich tea standard.The maximum zinc content can be reached under N4 treatment.In addition,the element content of plant inflorescence was iron > zinc > copper > selenium.In conclusion,compared with the control,N3 treatment(39 mg· hm-2)significantly increased POD activity,soluble sugar content,total chlorophyll content, chlorophyll b content,dry weight of single flower,yield per hectare,chlorogenic acid content,selenium content and iron content(P < 0.05).The results showed that the ability of resistance to inversion,photosynthetic ability,yield and effective component content in inflorescence of Chrysanthemum morifolium ‘Ruhe’ were enhanced,and quality of Se-enriched was improved.
