Effects Of Fermented Peony Seed Meal On Performance,Egg Quality And Intestinal Microflora Of Laying Hens | Posted on:2023-10-27 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:J Lu | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2543306797465134 | Subject:Biology | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | To study the effects of probiotics fermented peony seed meal on the diet of laying hens,and to explore whether it can be used as a new unconventional protein feed.500 healthy Xinyang black laying hens of 55 weeks old with similar body weight and production performance were randomly divided into 5 groups,with 4 replicates in each group and 25 in each replicate.The control group was fed with conventional diet,and the experimental groups I,II,III and IV were fed with experimental diets supplemented with 5% peony seed meal,5%,7% and 9% fermented peony seed meal instead of soybean meal.The results showed that: 1.Compared with groups I and II,the actual number of eggs in group III increased significantly(P < 0.05);Compared with groups I,II and IV,the feed egg ratio in group III decreased significantly(P < 0.05);The rate of soft egg breaking in group III was significantly lower than that in the control group.2.The thickness and strength of eggshell in test group I and test group III were significantly higher than those in control group,test group II and IV(P < 0.05);With the increase of the proportion of fermented peony seed meal,the HA unit in the fermentation group increased first and then decreased;The proportion of egg yolk in the control group was significantly higher than that in test groups I and III(P < 0.05).3.Compared with the control group,alkaline phosphatase in test groups I and II increased significantly(P < 0.05).Compared with the control group,test group I and II,LDL in test group IV decreased significantly(P < 0.05).Superoxide dismutase in groupsⅡ and Ⅲ was significantly higher than that in group Ⅳ(P < 0.05);The content of glutathione peroxidase in test group II was significantly higher than that in control group,test groups I and III.4.The contents of saturated fatty acids and monounsaturated fatty acids in egg yolk,chest muscle and leg muscle in the control group were higher than those in the experimental group,especially myristic acid(P < 0.05);The content of polyunsaturated fatty acids in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,especially linoleic acid and α-The content of linolenic acid was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05).5.The apparent digestibility of crude protein,crude fat and phosphorus in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group.The apparent digestibility of histidine in the control group was significantly lower than that in the test group IV(P <0.05);Except the apparent digestibility of tryptophan and proline,the apparent digestibility of amino acids in test group III was slightly higher than that in control group(P > 0.05).6.16 S r DNA high-throughput sequencing showed that the number of OTUs in groups II,III and IV increased first and then decreased in jejunum and cecum.In the jejunum,compared with the control group,the relative abundance of aeriscardovia aeriphera in the experimental group increased;The relative abundance of Lactobacillus salivarius increased in groups I,III and IV.α-The results of diversity analysis showed that the diversity and evenness of species distribution in group II were slightly higher than those in the control group.In the cecum,the relative abundance of Bacteroides salanitronis increased in the control group;The relative abundance of Rothia nasimurium in test group II was significantly higher than that in control group;The Shannon,ACE and Simpson indexes of test group III were higher than those of the control group,that is,the species diversity and species distribution uniformity were higher than those of the control group.In conclusion,the addition of fermented peony seed meal in the diet can promote the improvement of the corresponding indexes of laying hens.At the same time,fermented peony seed meal can also maintain the structure of intestinal flora,increase the relative abundance of beneficial bacteria and ensure intestinal health. | Keywords/Search Tags: | fermented peony seed meal, production performance, egg quality, Antioxidant index, fatty acid content, apparent digestibility, intestinal flora | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
