The forest plant community of Li River Scenic Area in Guilin maintains its good survival and renewal,gives full play to the necessary ecological service functions and capabilities,and maintains the health of the forest ecosystem,which is of great significance to the sustainable development of the plant landscape of Li River Scenic Area.Through the investigation of plant resources in the essence section of Li River Scenic Area,and the health evaluation and scenic beauty evaluation of plant communities,the ecological function and aesthetic function of plant communities were evaluated.The health evaluation selects 16 evaluation index factors from four aspects of productivity,structure,anti-interference and soil quality to construct the plant community evaluation system.The AHP analytic hierarchy process is used to calculate the index weight,the comprehensive index method is used to obtain the final health index,and the health grade is divided.SBE beauty evaluation method is used to evaluate its landscape effect,and optimization and improvement strategies were put forward according to the two evaluation results.The main results are as follows:(1)The Li River Scenic Area is rich in plant resources.A total of 180 species of plants have been recorded in the survey,belonging to 76 families and 155 genera.The dominant families are mainly Leguminosae,Poaceae,Moraceae,Euphorbiaceae,Compositae,Rosaceae,Rhamnaceae,and there are relatively more Oligospecies and Monospecies.A total of 22 species of trees,78 species of shrubs,16 species of vines,11 species of ferns,and 5 species of bamboos were recorded.The ratio of evergreens to deciduous plants is about 1:1.37.Deciduous broadleaved mixed forest,evergreen coniferous forest.Most of the dominant species have the characteristics of strong adaptability and resistance to barrenness,which reflects the adaptability of plants to the characteristics of karst habitats.(2)The average health index of forest plant communities in Li River Scenic Area is 0.62,and the overall health is in a healthy state.The health index showed an upward trend with the decline of the mountain gradient.Among the 3 scenic spots investigated,the overall forest health performance: Guanyan Scenic Area average health index is 0.64,the average health index of Yangdi Scenic Area is 0.62,and the average health index of Xianggong Mountain Scenic Area is 0.57.The main factors affecting the health evaluation are the integrity of the community structure,species diversity and site habitat conditions.(3)Through the evaluation of the beauty degree of the plant landscape in the Li River Scenic Area,the results showed that the plant landscape in the interlaced zone of water and land is more beautiful,followed by the lower part of the mountain,and the plant community landscape effect in the middle and upper part of the mountain is poor.There is an upward trend,and the factors affecting the landscape effect mainly include the ornamental and growth status of trees,the spatial level of the community,the plant collocation,and the ornamental characteristics of plants.Analyzing the two evaluation results,it can be found that although some plant communities can achieve ecological health status,the landscape effect presented is still relatively poor.Therefore,how to make the plant landscape achieve a better landscape effect without affecting the health of the plant ecosystem is the focus of the future Li River Scenic Area plant landscape construction;(4)Combined with the field situation and evaluation results,the ecological and landscape improvement strategies of Li River Scenic Area are put forward,which mainly include:reasonable allocation of plants to enrich diversity;inducing natural regeneration to achieve the purpose of sustainable management;optimizing plant collocation to improve landscape effects;focusing on protection,to prevent man-made damage,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the restoration of the forest ecosystem and the improvement of the plant landscape in the Li River Scenic Area.
