| In 2023,the Central Document No.1 proposed "to use Beidou technology and other development of advanced agricultural machinery, and promote the application and promotion of agricultural input efficiency and reduction technology",and in previous years,Document No.1 also stressed "to promote the development of agricultural aerial plant protection technology".Shandong Province in the implementation of pesticide efficiency reduction process stressed that "to promote efficient plant protection machinery instead of traditional drug application machinery, encourage the vigorous promotion of pesticide spraying technology of plant protection UAV in field food crops, improve the modernization of plant protection operations to help achieve pesticide reduction and increase efficiency. The advantages of pesticide spraying technology of plant protection UAV in food crop plant protection are outstanding, with the advantages of efficient application, low cost, labor saving, reducing the injury to applicators, liberating labor and reducing environmental pollution. Therefore,it is of great practical significance to promote the vigorous application and promotion of pesticide spraying technology of plant protection UAV.Shandong Province is a large grain-producing province, and it is important to clarify the behavior of grain farmers in using pesticide spraying technology of plant protection UAV,to promote the application and promotion of the technology to ensure the safety of grain production,to promote the modernization of plant protection machinery by reducing the amount and increasing the efficiency of pesticides, and to build a strong mechanized province in Shandong Province. In this paper,we study the use behavior of pesticide spraying technology of plant protection UAV in Shandong Province based on the expanded technology acceptance model. After analyzing the current situation of the development of plant protection drones and their application technology in Shandong Province,we designed a scale of research variables, collected research data through questionnaires, clarified the individual characteristics of farmers and their technology use,and empirically tested the logical relationship between the variables using structural equation modeling, and finally drew conclusions and proposed corresponding countermeasures.Based on data analysis and structural equation modeling, the conclusions of the study are summarized as follows:(1)Although pesticide spraying technology of plant protection UAV in Shandong Province has been developed and applied in recent years, the overall use frequency of food and agriculture is still not high and needs to be further promoted and applied.(2)Non-farm employment status and technology readiness positively affect perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of technology for food and agriculture, respectively, and both indirectly affect attitudes towards technology use for food and agriculture through the mediating effects of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of technology for food and agriculture.(3)Both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of technology have a positive direct influence on farmers’ attitude toward technology use,and both have an indirect positive influence on farmers’ technology use behavior through the remote mediation of attitude and behavioral intention.(4)Farmers’ attitudes toward pesticide spraying technology of plant protection UAV positively influenced their behavioral intention to use the technology, and farmers’ attitudes toward the technology positively and indirectly influenced farmers’ behavioral intention to use the technology.(5)Farmers’ behavior of using pesticide spraying technology of plant protection UAV was directly and positively influenced by their behavioral intention. In order to promote the promotion and application of pesticide spraying technology of plant protection UAV,based on the findings of the study, this paper proposes countermeasures in terms of promoting large-scale food production and non-agricultural employment of food and farmers;strengthening education and training for food and farmers to improve the level of technology awareness and use;enhancing the degree of ease of use of technology to promote the level of technology use;enhancing the value of technology use to improve technology attraction;and promoting technology publicity and promotion to improve evaluation and propensity to use. |
