| In 2023,the No.1 Central Document once again proposed deepening the collective forest rights reform system,As an important part of the reform of the collective forest rights system, forest land transfer plays an extremely important role in promoting the large-scale development of forest land.At the same time,as participants in woodland transfer, farmers in forest areas will consider the overall capital situation of their families before making woodland transfer choices and then make life choices that are beneficial to them based on the abundance of living capital, such as labor, woodland, and family economic status. Therefore, the internal action mechanism of forest land circulation and livelihood capital on farmers’ livelihood strategy selection behavior is of great significance for reasonably guiding their livelihood strategy selection and improving their livelihood level.Given this, this paper makes use of the field survey data of farmers in the collective forest rights reform area in 2021,constructs an analytical framework of "forest land transfer-livelihood capital-livelihood strategy",calculates farmers’ livelihood capital by entropy weight method, takes livelihood capital as a moderating variable, and uses the regulatory effect model to study the impact of forest land transfer on livelihood strategy. The binary Logistic model was used to analyze the impact of forest land transfer on farmers’ livelihood strategies, which could provide reference for improving forest land transfer policy and farmers’ livelihood level. The results show that there are great differences in the livelihood capital values of farmers in the forest area, among which the difference between the human capital value and the natural capital value is 0.050.Forest land transfer and livelihood capital have a significant negative impact on farmers with farming livelihood strategies and have a significant promoting effect on farmers with part-time livelihood strategies.Gender and age also have a substantial impact on farmers with farming livelihood strategies and part-time livelihood strategies. After forest land transfer, farmers’ livelihood capital also changes correspondingly, which significantly impacts the change of livelihood strategy.Livelihood capital plays a regulating role in the process of forest land transfer affecting livelihood strategy.Considering the age and gender heterogeneity of farmers in forest areas, the effects of forest land transfer and livelihood capital on farmers with different livelihood strategies are other.Based on the above analysis,to further improve the livelihood level of farmers, the government should improve the employment system, improve the investment environment, and based on respecting the will of farmers, improve the woodland circulation market according to the economic, cultural, and woodland characteristics of different regions, and then formulate differentiated encouragement policies suitable for their development according to the actual needs of households with varying types of livelihood strategies. To achieve sustainable development of farmers’ livelihood level. |
