Study On Resource Utilization Behavior And Influencing Factors Of Laying Hens’ Manure In Zouping City

The pollution of livestock husbandry has become an important source of environmental pollution while ensuring the supply of livestock products and satisfying the consumption demands of urban and rural residents.A large amount of fecal pollution is not used in a timely and effective manner,which not only causes a waste of resources,but also causes serious damage to the atmosphere,soil and water sources,endangers livestock and human health,and serious impact on the ecological environment and the sustainable development of animal husbandry.Laying hen industry is an important industry of animal husbandry,and layer dung is a key component of animal contamination.The research on the utilization of laying hen dung as resource is helpful to boost the utilization of animal dung.As the main decision-making body of aquaculture industry,farmers should choose the appropriate resource utilization behavior according to their own and external breeding conditions,which is of great significance to carry out the manure resource utilization activities.This article takes the laying hen farmers in Zouping City as the research object,comprehensively using literature research methods and practical research methods,analyzes the relevant background and current situation of the utilization of chicken manure resources in Zouping City.Based on the data from 232 survey questionnaires of laying hen farmers in 15 regions of Zouping City,it analyzes the influencing factors of the behavior choices of laying hen farmers in Zouping City in the utilization of chicken manure resources through the use of unordered multi classification logistic model.Finally,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to boost the utilization of layer manure resources and promote the sustainable development of animal husbandry in Zouping City.The conclusions are as follows:(1)At present,the overall inventory and output of laying hens in Zouping City continue to improve,and the laying hens in Zouping City are mainly concentrated in Jiaoqiao Town,Handian Town,Changshan Town and Xidong Street.(2)At present,the utilization of chicken manure resources in Zouping City mainly includes composting to the field,sales and production of organic fertilizer.Each resource utilization behavior has its own advantages and disadvantages.Different factors drive farmers to choose different resource utilization behavior.(3)Learned that the majority of laying chicken farmers in Zouping City are middle-aged farmers with low educational level,long breeding years and inadequate government subsidies.Most of the farmers are aware of the impact of chicken manure on the environment and tend to choose environmentally friendly resource utilization behaviors.However,a few farmers lack understanding of resource utilization and have weak environmental awareness.There are still signs of chicken waste discarding and low participation.(4)Farmers who choose the composting behavior will be significantly affected by planting around the farm,the proportion of breeding income,the intensity of government supervision,the resource utilization behavior of farmers around the farm,and significantly affected by the risk awareness,the scale of breeding,and the intensity of government subsidies.The selection of sales behavior is significantly affected by the positive effects of education level,breeding years,the proportion of breeding income,government supervision,the resource utilization behavior of surrounding farmers,and the economic benefits,while the negative effects of risk awareness and government subsidies are significant.The selection of organic fertilizer production behavior is significantly affected by the education level of farmers,breeding years,the proportion of breeding income,government supervision,government training,the resource utilization behavior of surrounding farmers,the understanding of the resource utilization of livestock and poultry waste,and the economic benefits brought by it.According to the main problems reflected in the investigation and analysis,according to the practical situation,it is proposed to increase assistance and financial support to enhance the enthusiasm of farmers in the utilization of chicken manure resources;Improve farmers’ comprehensive quality,enhance farmers’ resource utilization ability;Strengthen supervision,improve reward and punishment mechanism,promote the implementation of chicken manure resource utilization;Improve the market mechanism and external environment of chicken manure resource utilization;Pay attention to informal constraints and promote the resource utilization of chicken manure by farmers,in order to offer consult for correlation government sectors and layer farmers to better carry out resource utilization activities.
