Study On Farmers’ Willingness To Pay For Black Land Protection Technology In Jilin Province

Black land is known as the stabilizer of food security in our country.And mainly concentrated in the northeast area of the black land is one of the world’s four black land.Northeast region is also a very important commodity grain base.Strengthening the protection and utilization of black land in the main producing areas has positive significance for food security.In the traditional cultivation and utilization of black land,due to excessive reclamation,black soil layer of black land thinning,soil organic matter decline,wind erosion and water erosion and other problems are aggravated,which brings challenges to the national protection of food security.In order to effectively protect the black soil as an important agricultural resource,the vast number of scientific and technological personnel are actively exploring the appropriate technology to protect the black soil,so as to strengthen the protection and utilization of the black soil.At present,Chinese scholars have made a large number of studies on the factors influencing farmers’ use of black soil protection technology,but ignored the investment possibility of black land protection within the range of farmers’ bear.Farmers are the main users of black land,and the protection of black land should not rely on the government alone,but should fully mobilize the enthusiasm of farmers,whose attitude plays a huge role in the protection of black land.Based on the actual demand of black land protection,based on a large number of research results of experts and scholars on black land issues,guided by the cognitive behavior theory,Marx’s theory of land fertility,the law of diminishing land returns and the theory of sustainable development,through the in-depth investigation of the utilization and protection of black land in Jilin Province,taking the straw mulch-strip cultivation technology as an example,The binary Logistic regression model was used to study farmers’ willingness to pay for black land protection technology.The conclusion is as follows:1.Farmers have a strong willingness to pay by adopting black land protection technology,with 84.39% of them having the willingness to pay.The maximum range of farmers’ payment level is concentrated in [201-400] yuan per mu,accounting for 41% of the respondents.2.The main influencing factors of farmers’ willingness to pay by straw mulching strip cultivation technology include:(1)individual characteristic variable: farmers’ health status;(2)Family characteristic variables;Area of cultivated land,soil fertility of cultivated land,whether to participate in government training on agricultural knowledge,whether to understand the cultivation technology of straw mulching strip,whether to understand the related policies of cultivation technology of straw mulching strip,whether to participate in the cultivation technology training of straw mulching strip;(3)Characteristic variables of external environment: the degree of influence of large professional households and rural cooperatives on the adoption of straw mulching strip cultivation technology by farmers,the main reasons for the adoption of straw mulching strip cultivation technology,and the attitude towards black land protection.Based on the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward: 1.Strengthen publicity and education and enhance farmers’ awareness of protection.2.Improve the promotion system and technical supply.3.Improve relevant laws and policies and the compensation system.4.Improve the supervision system.
