| Gastrodia elata is one of the key species of the "Ten Famous Medicinal Herbs" mentioned in the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" for the development of Chinese medicine in Yunnan Province.Yiliang County,Zhaotong City,artificial cultivation of Gastrodia elata for more than 50 years,after a long period of exploration and practice,has now formed a more complete set of cultivation techniques.The Gastrodia elata industry,as the most characteristic and development potential of the local biological resources,excellent quality of authentic medicinal herbs industry.The local government’s attention to the development of the Gastrodia elata industry has been rising,financial support to further increase.However,today,the Gastrodia elata industry still needs to strengthen scientific and technological investment,the development of leading enterprises is not strong,scattered growers are not concentrated,the lack of relevant professionals,invasive alien species and subsidies are not enough in place,resulting in the Gastrodia elata industry input-output efficiency need to be improved.At the same time,each input element in the production process of Gastrodia elata,also affects the output of Gastrodia elata that is,the output value,thus affecting the development of the entire industry.Based on this,this paper investigates the current situation of the development of the Gastrodia elata industry in Yiliang County,combines the empirical analysis of input-output efficiency and influencing factors,and proposes countermeasures for the development of the Gastrodia elata industry in response to the results of the investigation and analysis.This is of great significance to promote the economic development of Yiliang County.This paper analyzes the development status of the Gastrodia elata industry in Yiliang County through the SWOT method,then uses the DEA-BCC model to measure the input-output efficiency of the Gastrodia elata production in Yiliang County,and then uses the efficiency value as the dependent variable and the influencing factors as the independent variables,and uses the Tobit regression model for empirical analysis.The results showed that most of the Gastrodia elata farmers’ planting input-output efficiency did not reach the optimum,and the average value of comprehensive technical efficiency of226 farmers was 0.740,which still had 22.6% room for improvement.Among the influencing factors,there is a positive correlation between family education level,planting willingness level,proportion of gastrodia elata income,degree of training for new vocational farmers received by farmers,and level of government policy subsidies,while the per capita planting area,proportion of disaster affected area,and service level obtained from cooperatives or leading enterprises are all negatively correlated.In order to improve the efficiency of the input and output of the Gastrodia elata industry in Yiliang County,this paper proposes the following countermeasures: First,it is to strengthen scientific and technological support services,and strive to achieve new breakthroughs in scientific and technological research and development such as the protection of Gastrodia elata germplasm resources in Xiaocaoba and the breeding of good varieties of Gastrodia elata.Second,to strengthen the market supervision of Gastrodia elata,to maintain the brand image of Yi Liang’s authentic medicinal herbs Gastrodia elata.Third,improve the disaster prevention mechanism,as far as possible to reduce the impact of climate disasters to the Gastrodia elata industry.Fourth,cultivate new business entities,through the joint efforts of the government,the market and society.Fifth,play the role of social organizations,uphold the principle of "supporting the best,strong,and large".Sixth,increase industrial subsidies to enhance the self-confidence of Gastrodia elata growers.Seventh,promote the construction of Gastrodia elata brand,to improve the visibility of Gastrodia elata. |
