In recent years,the world has faced multiple challenges,including but not limited to the pandemics,international conflicts,extreme weather,and natural disasters.These disadvantages have increased the risk of global food security and the increasement of the risk of global food production declines.As the storage and processing equipments of grain are important guarantees for food security,evaluation of these equipments via various indicators such as mechanization,intelligence,and informatization and so on is an important method for its effectiveness analysis.However,the evaluation of grain storage and processing equipments is difficult due to the strong subjectivity of evaluation standards,complex evaluation indicators,low efficiency in accessing paper archives,and fuzzy intuition of presented data.This paper take continuous paddy drying equipment as an example and explore the establishment of an objective evaluation system for paddy drying equipment which exhibits intuitive and concise data presentation,significant reduction of industry communication costs through the following three steps.Firstly,an evaluation system for paddy drying equipment based on the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is established.AHP is a commonly used comprehensive evaluation method which can quantify multiple qualitative indicators,calculate the weight and comprehensive score of each indicator,and objectively evaluate the overall performance of certain equipment.Secondly,an online evaluation system based on the previous evaluation system is established.Manufacturers can display their equipments’ information in forms of text,pictures,videos,and three-dimensional models.Evaluation experts can rate the equipments online based on the evaluation system and the information provided by the manufacturers.Finally,the scores of various evaluation indicators for the equipments are presented in an understandable visual manner based on lots of data obtained in the previous step.This system may standardize the paddy drying equipment market to a certain extent,lead equipment manufacturers to engage in healthy competition,and improve their products.Food production enterprises may select proper equipments by means of being provided multi-dimensional evaluation indicators for them based on their needs.
