| The Yangtze River Economic Belt is a major national strategy.The climate and topography of this region are suitable for crop growth and it is an important food production area in China.However,the pollution problem facing agricultural development is becoming more and more serious,which seriously restricts the healthy development of agriculture.To study the efficiency of agricultural green growth in the Yangtze River Economic Zone,for a comprehensive understanding of the current status and existing problems of agricultural green development in the Yangtze River Economic Zone,for exploring the inadequacy and imbalance of China’s agricultural development,and then to provide policy recommendations for China’s agricultural green development and promote agricultural development.Quality development is of great significance.In this study,by combing the literature,selecting a suitable indicator system for calculating the efficiency of agricultural green growth in the Yangtze River Economic Zone,and conducting a detailed analysis of the current status of agricultural input and output in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.Using the undesired output super-efficiency SBM model to measure the efficiency of agricultural green growth in the Yangtze River Economic Zone from 2002 to 2018.Finally,through Hausman’s test,a random effect model was selected,and the agricultural green growth efficiency,the pure technical efficiency of agricultural green growth,and the scale efficiency of agricultural green growth were used as the explanatory variables to determine the disposable income of rural residents,agricultural taxation policies,and the ratio of fiscal support to agriculture.Analyzing and comparing explanatory variables such as disaster rate,effective irrigation rate,and degree of mechanization one by one,the following conclusions are drawn:The provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt have varying degrees of redundancy in agricultural diesel,fertilizers,pesticides,agricultural film and other input elements and undesired outputs.The decline in the number of agricultural workers complements the upward trend in machinery inputs,and the efficiency of agricultural production continues to increase.On the whole,the efficiency of agricultural green growth in the Yangtze River Economic Zone was on the rise during the period 2002-2018.The provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt should reduce the input of chemical elements,optimize the input structure of agricultural elements,and promote the green development of agriculture in the Yangtze River Economic Belt based on their own agricultural development.The per capita disposable income of rural residents can promote the efficiency of agricultural green growth in the Yangtze River Economic Zone;agricultural taxation policies can optimize the structure of agricultural input factors;the level of financial support for agriculture can promote the pure technical efficiency of agricultural green growth.Therefore,it is necessary to increase financial support for agriculture,optimize the structure of financial support for agriculture,improve farmland infrastructure construction and management level,enhance disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities,and promote high-quality agricultural development.The degree of mechanization failed to promote the efficiency of agricultural green growth.It shows that in advancing the process of mechanization,we should not only pay attention to quantity improvement,but also to improve the quality of machinery,to avoid poor output due to excessive input of agricultural diesel and other energy elements,and to reduce the efficiency of agricultural green growth.Based on the analysis of the comprehensive evaluation results of the efficiency of agricultural green growth in the Yangtze River Economic Zone,this study puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: promote farmers’ income and continuously enhance the sense of acquisition of rural residents;speed up the circulation of agricultural land and deepen the reform of land property rights system;continuously optimize the structure of financial support for agriculture;Increase investment in agricultural infrastructure and promote smart agricultural applications;continue to optimize the structure of agricultural input elements,promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into agriculture,and promote the development of agriculture to high-quality. |
