| This experiment investigates the effects of soybean varieties and sowing dates on the yield and quality of soybean corn intercropping mixed silage.We plan to use four soybean varieties and one corn variety as materials,and set four sowing dates for soybeans.Utilizing the characteristics of high crude protein content in soybeans and high carbohydrate content in corn,mixed silage was conducted to explore the best soybean varieties and sowing dates for mixed silage,aiming to provide reference for the cultivation of high-quality silage raw materials in the southwestern edge of the Sichuan Basin.Four soybean varieties were selected:Qihuang 34(A1),Chengdou 18(A2),Zhonghuang 318(A3),and Qiandou 7(A4);Set four broadcast dates: May 16th(B1),May 23rd(B2),May 30th(B3),and June 7th(B4).Combination method of 4 × 4,while setting corn monoculture and single storage as the control,with 3 replicates for each treatment.Measure the fresh and dry weight of each treatment,as well as the content of crude protein,neutral washing fiber,acidic washing fiber,and soluble sugar in the nutritional quality before and after silage,and calculate the feed value.The results indicate that:(1)The fresh weight and dry matter yield of soybean corn intercropping increased by25.50% and 14.69% respectively compared to corn monoculture.From a variety perspective,A2 has a higher yield than the other three varieties,with a significantly higher fresh weight,which is 7.27%,6.99%,and 8.17% higher,respectively.From the perspective of sowing date,B1 has the highest yield,significantly higher than B4(P<0.05),and there is no significant difference between B2 and B3.Under all intercropping treatments,among the fresh weight and dry matter yield after silage,A2B1 is the largest,followed by A2B2 and A2B3,indicating that the variety has a significant impact on intercropping yield.(2)In this study,intercropping soybean and corn silage significantly increased crude protein content compared to single cropping corn silage(P<0.05),with a maximum increase of 64.66% in crude protein content.The Main effect analysis showed that A4 had the highest crude protein content before and after silage,followed by A2.There was no significant difference in crude protein content among the four varieties.(3)Compared with corn monoculture,under soybean corn intercropping treatment,the content of neutral washing fiber and acidic washing fiber in most systems before and after silage was lower than that under monoculture.Before and after soybean corn intercropping silage,the content of neutral washing fiber decreased by the highest 23.00%.After silage,from a variety perspective,the neutral washing fiber(49.88%)and acidic washing fiber content(27.72%)of A2 were lower than those of the other three varieties;From the perspective of sowing time,the content of neutral washing fiber and acidic washing fiber showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing,with the lowest values at B3 sowing time,49.38% and 27.15%,respectively.Among all treatments,A2B3 and A4B1 have the lowest neutral washing fiber content and acidic washing fiber content.(4)The soluble sugar content of monoculture corn before silage was significantly higher than that of soybean corn intercropping,reaching a maximum of 2.03 times.And as the sowing date is delayed,the soluble sugar content increases;After silage,except for a few mixed silage and single silage treatments,the soluble sugar content decreased,while the rest increased,considering the impact of crude protein decomposition.(5)Before silage,there was no significant difference in the relative feed value between monoculture maize and soybean maize intercropping.However,after silage,the relative feed value of strip intercropping increased more than monoculture.From a variety perspective,the relative increase in feed value before and after A2 silage was the largest,while during the sowing period,it was B3.And after silage,the relative feeding value is the highest.It indicates that A2 and B3 treatments can improve the feed availability value more effectively.Among all treatments,A4B1 had the highest relative feeding value of 135.96,followed by A2B3 with 132.76.From a comprehensive perspective,variety A2(Chengdou 18)can better utilize the advantages of soybean corn intercropping silage and improve feed quality by sowing at sowing date B3(May 30).More suitable for planting and development in the southwestern edge of the Sichuan Basin. |
