Objective: To explore the risk factors for weakened detrusor muscle function in patients with Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)of different ethnic groups. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients with complete medical record data admitted to the Urology Department of Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital, and after screening by inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,216 patients were used as research objects.According to the ethnic group divided into different groups, comparing the differences in age, medical history length, prostate volume, length of bulging into the bladder, serum t PSA level, residual urine volume of the bladder, maximum detrusor pressure, maximum urine flow rate, bladder contraction index(BCI),whose BCI <100 will be thought weakening of detrusor function, use Spearman-related analysis of BCI and age, history length, prostate volume, length of bulging into the bladder,The correlation between serum t PSA levels and residual urine output of the bladder, and the risk factors for detrusor weakening(BCI<100)were analyzed by logistic regression, and the difference was considered to be statistically significant at P<0.05.Result: In the comparison of the general conditions of Tibetan,Han and Hui patients, there was no significant difference in age, bulging bladder length, residual urine, maximum detrusor pressure, maximum urine flow rate, and bladder contraction index(P>0.05);the prostate volume of Han patients was smaller than that of Tibetan and Hui,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the medical history of Han patients was longer than that of Tibetan and Hui people, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Correlation analysis of BCI showed that the Tibetan group was negatively correlated with age(r:-0.243,p<0.05),negatively correlated with prostate volume(r:-0.291,p<0.05),negatively correlated with PSA(r:-0.255,p<0.05),negatively correlated with residual urine(r:-0.338,p<0.05),and in the Han group negatively correlated with age(r:-0.256,p<0.05),negatively correlated with prostate volume(r:-0.391,p<0.05),and negatively correlated with residual urine(r:-0.345,p<0.05).The Hui group was negatively correlated with prostate volume(r:-0.564,p<0.05)and negatively correlated with residual urine(r:-0.698,p<0.05).Logistic regression analysis with or without detrusor weakening showed that prostate volume was a risk factor(P<0.05)in the three groups of patients, and residual urine was a risk factor in the Han patients(P<0.05).Conclusion: Han patients had a longer medical history and had a smaller average prostate volume;BCI was negatively correlated with age, negatively correlated with prostate volume, negatively correlated with PSA value, and negatively correlated with residual urine volume in Han patients;BCI was negatively correlated with age, negatively correlated with prostate volume, and negatively correlated with residual urine in Han patients;BCI was negatively correlated with prostate volume and negatively correlated with residual urine in Hui patients. The increase in prostate volume will increase the possibility of damage to detrusor function, and for Han patients, the increase in residual urine also implies damage to detrusor function.
