Clinical Observation Of Muzeixuanbi Decoction Combined With Captopril Tablets In The Treatment Of Damp-heat Syndrome Of Upper Jiao In Children With Henoch-schonlein Purpura Nephritis(Isolated Hematuria)

Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of Muzeixuanbi decoction combin ed with Captopril tablets in the treatment of damp-heat syndrome of upper jiao in chil dren with Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis(isolated hematuria).Method: Eighty children with damp-heat syndrome of upper jiao of Henoch-Sch onlein purpura nephritis(isolated hematuria)were selected from Sichuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2020 to December 2022,and randomly divided into observation group and control group.The observation group was treated with oral captopril tablets combined with Muzeixuanbi decoction on the basis of gene ral treatment,and the control group was treated with oral captopril tablets on the basis of general treatment.The observation lasted for 8 weeks.Urinary red blood cell count,degree of occult blood in urine,TCM syndrome score and whether there were advers e reactions were recorded before,4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment.Safety data wa s counted before and after treatment.Analyzing data with SPSS25.0.3 months after th e end of treatment,the patients were followed up once.Results:(1)There were no significant differences in gender,age,course of disease,urinar y red blood cell count,degree of urinary occult blood,and TCM syndrome scores bef ore treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)There was no significant difference in the improvement of urine occult blood and urine red blood cell count between the two groups at 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group at 8 weeks of treatme nt(P<0.05).(3)Evaluation of TCM syndrome curative effect:(1)Both treatment groups can i mprove the TCM syndrome of upper jiao damp-heat syndrome;(2)After 4 weeks of tr eatment,the improvement of short red urine,sore throat,throat itching,dry mouth,re dness and swelling of laryngeal nucleus,heavy headedness,chest tightness,sweating and total syndrome score in the observation group were better than those in the contro l group(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment,the improvement of short red urine,sor e throat,pharyngeal itching,throat clearing,dry mouth,redness and swelling of the la ryngeal nucleus,heavy headedness,chest tightnes,limb fatigue and heavy,sweating,dry stool and total syndrome score in the observation group were better than those in t he control group(P<0.05).(3)The effective rate of TCM syndrome: after 4 weeks an d 8 weeks of treatment,the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(4)Comparison of disease efficacy: there was no difference in the effective rate o f disease between the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05),and the observ ation group was better than the control group after 8 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).(5)There were no adverse reactions in the two groups during treatment,and the vital signs,blood routine,liver and kidney function were within the normal range afte r 8 weeks of treatment.Conclusion: Both groups were effective in the treatment of Henoch-Schonlein p urpura nephritis(isolated hematuria)damp-heat syndrome of upper jiao,but the observ ation group was superior to the control group in reducing the degree of occult blood in urine routine,urinary red blood cell count index and relieving various syndromes of d amp-heat syndrome of upper jiao.There were no adverse reactions in the two groups during treatment,The safety data after treatment was all within the normal range.Muz eixuanbi Decoction combined with Captopril tablets is effective and safe in treating H SPN(isolated hematuria)of damp-heat syndrome of upper jiao.
