| Guang Weiran wrote a considerable number of old-style poems in his later years.Compared with his new poems,these old-style poems and their ideological connotations have not received much attention from the academic circles.Based on Guang Weiran’s old-style poems,this thesis systematically classifies and summarizes his old-style poems’creative motivations,types of subject matter,and ideological implication through close reading of the text and mutual verification between poems and essays.Subsequently,the author analyzes Guang Weiran’s poetics from the perspective of contrasting the old with the new,hoping to construct a richer and more comprehensive image of the poet,and to fully realize the analysis of the works of some writers and the study of literary history.This thesis is divided into five parts,namely introduction,three main body chapters and conclusion.The introduction presents Guang Weiran’s literary experience,classifies and summarizes Guang Weiran’s poetry creation,reviews the existing achievements of Guang Weiran’s poetry,clarifies the research value of this topic,and summarizes the research path and method of this thesis.The first chapter analyzes the creative motivation of Guang Weiran’s old-style poems,and explores Guang Weiran’s creative direction and style selection from two aspects:the background of the times and personal experience.The personal experience includes the accumulation of the poet’s early learning and the experience of socializing,singing and visiting in his later years,and the background of the times focuses on the introspection and reflection brought to the poet by the catastrophe of the Cultural Revolution.The second chapter discusses the subject types of Guang Weiran’s old-style poems,and examines the poet’s thoughts and feelings from different topics.In terms of content,Guang Weiran’s old-style poems can be divided into four types:travel poems and hearsay poems,epic poems and nostalgic poems,communicative poems and poems of love,and self-encouragement poems.Each style contains different ideological connotations,which can be categorized as the spirit of reform,revolutionary will,friendship in adversity,and poet’s spiritual personality.The thrid Chapter discusses the relationship between Guang Weiran’s old style poetry and new poetry.The first is to analyze the integration of Guang Weiran’s new poetry and old style poetry in terms of content and form,that is,the intertextuality between different styles;the second is to analyze the dislocation in the creation of Guang Weiran’s new poetry and old style poetry in the light of the written time.The conclusion is a summary and supplement to this thesis. |
