Research On The Application Of Nonlinear Narration In Film Creation

Based on the nonlinear narration in film narratology,this paper combines nonlinearity with the author’s short film creation,and studies the drama,lines,audio-visual and other aspects in the creation of film and television works from the theoretical perspective of nonlinear narration.The first chapter describes the origin,motivation,theme and characteristics of the short film;The beginning of the second chapter mainly defines the concepts of nonlinear and non-linear narration,and emphasizes that the background color of non-linear narration should be the transformation of the concept of time,which is the transfer of traditional physical time to continuous pure time.In addition,on this basis,referring to the short film "freeze frame" shot by the author and the relatively classic film and television works,this paper mainly examines the characteristics of nonlinear narrative from the aspects of time and space,editing and drama,and summarizes the specific forms of nonlinear narrative in film and television works,such as time wormhole,time closed loop,non logical narrative and clue interweaving.The third chapter summarizes the valuable perspective of film editing and non-linear creation from the perspective of time and non-linear narration,which can provide the basis for the research of film editing and non-linear creation in the future.The fourth chapter summarizes the influence of the thinking and techniques of nonlinear narration on the creation of the short film,such as more distinctive style,purer emotional experience,more realistic characterization and so on.In a word,the non-linear narrative is complete and the achievements support the short film creation,which provides theoretical and practical experience for the author to use non-linear thinking to create other films in the future.
