Research On The Methods Of Characterization In Family Films

In artistic creation activities,shaping artistic image is always the primary task.For millions of years,various art categories have created artistic images reflecting social reality and human emotions through their own unique artistic language.As the youngest art category,film has been creating vivid characters as a means to attract audience since its birth.Therefore,it is of profound significance to explore the shaping methods of characters in film creation for grasping the laws of film creation.As a popular art form,film is not only the epitome of society,but also has certain social functions and influences.Family movies usually take the emotional entanglements between family members as the core of dramatic conflicts,and spread social problems and family conflicts through the media of movies,reflecting the social reality and triggering people’s thinking.Based on the creative process of the family film The Return of Love,this paper discusses the characterization,character setting and character emotion communication from the aspects of literary texts,the performing arts,audio-visual language and post-production,etc,to dig out the methods and techniques of characterization in family movie,which also constitutes the basic framework of this paper.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part mainly expounds the reasons for the creation of the film,the background and significance of the topic,the research status at home and abroad,the research ideas and methods of the topic and the innovation of the paper.The second part takes the character image shaping as the research object,combines the narrative strategy of family movies,analyzes the character relationship setting and drama conflict setting in the film from two aspects of drama writing and performance;The third part,based on the psychological influence of visual image on aesthetic subject,discusses the setting of character’s personality in detail,and analyzes the character’s personality of the film hero from three aspects of costume modeling,behavior and action and lines.The fourth part,based on the theme of the film,elaborates on the creative concept and method of conveying characters’ emotions.Taking lens language,scene design and post production as examples,it analyzes the emotional elements and expression methods of the film.To sum up,movie characters should be established on the play,which is based on reasonable characters relations.Through the visual image of the unique design,the character inner externalization and movie audio-visual language,thecharacter appearance,personality,action and emotional integration are showed comprehensively to form the three-dimensional,real characters.
