Residential Satisfaction And Its Influencing Factors In Urban Ethnic Inter-embedded Communities

Community is the basic component unit of urban society,and the construction of harmonious community is the foundation of China’s socialist harmonious society.As a special type of urban community,the ethnic inter-embedded community has both the general characteristics of a community and the unique ethnic inter-embeddedness,which is determined by the national conditions of China’s unified multi-ethnic country and is in line with the general trend of China’s social development.Since General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to "promote the establishment of a social structure and community environment in which all ethnic groups are embedded",the study of ethnically embedded communities has attracted the attention of the academic community.The study on the satisfaction of living in ethnic embedded communities in Ningxia can not only provide a deeper understanding of the current situation of the development of ethnic embedded communities,solve many problems in the communities,make up for the shortcomings in the process of construction and development,release the development potential,improve the quality of life in the communities,enhance the satisfaction and happiness of the residents,but also build a new type of urban ethnic embedded communities,better promote ethnic unity in ethnic areas,and achieve multi-ethnic interaction,exchange and communication.Realize multi-ethnic interaction,exchange and intermingling,cast a firm sense of Chinese national community,and add bricks to the realization of the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation.This study takes Yinchuan and Wuzhong as the research area,and based on embeddedness theory,customer satisfaction theory and Campbell model theory,compares the frontier research of domestic and foreign scholars in the fields of ethnic inter-embedded communities and community living satisfaction,and takes into account the uniqueness of urban ethnic inter-embedded communities.We selected 5 latent variables:community environment,service and management,supporting facilities,neighborhood relationship,and satisfaction with living,and 23 observed variables corresponding to the latent variables,such as location conditions,landscape and greenery,and environmental sanitation,to construct a model for measuring satisfaction with living in urban ethnically embedded communities,and put forward research hypotheses.The data were processed using SPSS,AMOS and other mathematical and statistical analysis software to investigate the current situation of community living satisfaction and the influencing factors,and on the basis of the empirical study,countermeasures and suggestions were proposed for the future improvement and future development of urban ethnic inter-embedded community satisfaction in Ningxia.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The total score of satisfaction with living in an inter-ethnic nested community in the study area is 3.70,which is at a good level.Residents’ satisfaction levels for each observed variable differed significantly,where the willingness to make friends with other ethnic groups(4.39)>willingness to provide help(4.27)>willingness to come and go with different ethnic groups(4.18),and residents complained more about parking management,recreational facilities than,and property services,with satisfaction levels of 3.65,3.73,and 3.74,respectively.individual attributes differed in their evaluation of the community There are differences in individual attributes,among which,the differences in satisfaction levels brought by age,education level,income level,and length of residence are more significant.(2)According to the results of the structural equation model,it can be seen that community environment,service and management,supporting facilities,and neighborhood relationship have positive and significant effects on satisfaction with living in the community.The contribution of neighborhood relationship to the satisfaction of living in the community>community environment>service and management>supporting facilities.Different factors have different effects on community living satisfaction.The existence of low greening rate,low quality of property services,difficult parking,scarcity of living services and recreational facilities,and insufficient activity space in the community leads to the decline of residents’ satisfaction;community neighborhood harmony and ethnic unity enhance community cohesion,promote harmonious community construction,and enhance the satisfaction of living in urban ethnic inter-embedded communities.(3)In order to change the status quo of ethnic interlocking communities and build new urban ethnic interlocking communities that meet the new requirements of the times,firstly,the communities should improve the environment,enhance the quality of greenery,improve the supporting facilities and strengthen the service guarantee to adapt to the new development situation and meet the new requirements.Secondly,the property and the community should jointly manage,serve and make joint efforts to establish a sound community service mechanism and ethnic unity working mechanism by introducing compound talents and drawing on excellent experiences,improve the community service system and provide personalized quality services for residents of all ethnic groups by using grid-based management.Finally,we will take into full consideration the needs of residents of all ethnic groups,create diversified activity spaces,provide a place for residents of all ethnic groups to interact,develop community culture,strengthen good neighborliness,promote national unity,enhance residents’ sense of identity and belonging,promote extensive interaction,comprehensive exchange and deep integration of all ethnic groups,and forge a sense of Chinese national community.
