| As one of the great calligraphers in Chinese history,Wang Xizhi played an immeasurable role in the development direction of the mainstream of Chinese calligraphy.With solid traditional skills and unique innovative attitude,Wang Xizhi ushered in a new era in which the style of writing changed from plain and thick to elegant and smooth since the Jin Dynasty.Wang Xizhi’s letters were produced in correspondence with his friends.Each one has a different style,representing Wang Xizhi’s writing ideas and opinions in different periods.His calligraphy is extremely inclusive,rich,and diverse in style and brushwork,which has attracted scholars and scholars of all generations to explore the mystery of it,and is regarded as a model for exploring the essence of calligraphy.Calligraphers in the Ming and Qing Dynasties were no exception.The rise of calligraphers in the Song Dynasty was a major turning point in the history of Chinese calligraphy,which promoted the development of calligraphy after the Song Dynasty and laid a solid foundation for tracing Wang Xizhi in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Wang Youjun,as a "lasting" character in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,collected his calligraphy letters in the form of calligraphers in Chunhua Pavilion and spread widely.It provides a new way for Ming and Qing calligraphers to explore the charm of Jin people.The Ming and Qing dynasties experienced political turmoil and changes,especially in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties,the reform and transformation of the two dynasties,the spiritual world of the literati changed with the coup d ’etat,so they were more devoted to the creation of calligraphy,through borrowing objects to express their spiritual world.Taking Fu Shan,Wang Duo,Dong Qichang and Liu Yong as examples,this paper analyzes how they imitated and modified Wang Xizhi’s letters.Whether they copied the material copy by taking the ancient as the teacher or copied the new forms by borrowing the ancient,they all provided a direction for the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the later generations to learn books,and promoted the prosperity and development of calligraphy art in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Finally,based on the inheritance and development of the Ming and Qing calligraphers,this paper summarizes the feasibility of the author’s imitation and creation from Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy.Through a large number of books on calligraphy and literature,as well as relevant materials on Zhichou and Yuxiu,I can know the content of Wang Xizhi’s letters,the evaluation of the past dynasties and the historical evaluation of representative letters.At the same time,I can find out the imitative copy of Wang Xizhi’s letters by calligraphers in the Ming and Qing dynasties and the refreshing stream of the Tang and Song dynasties,which strengthens the famous foundation of Wang Xizhi’s calligraphers through the ages and greatly promotes the prosperity and development of Chinese calligraphy history.Since the prosperity of engravings in the Song Dynasty provided a medium for calligraphers in the Ming and Qing dynasties to learn calligraphy,Dong Qichang,Wang Duo,Fu Shan and Liu Yong in the Ming and Qing Dynasties explored the imitation and innovation of Wang Xizhi’s handwritten letters,and compared and analyzed whether the imitation of Wang Xizhi’s handwritten letters was the imitation of the ancient style or the innovative imitation of the calligraphy,and then explored the practical thinking on the imitation and creation of Wang Youjun’s handwritten letters.Summarize the "point","line" and "face" in Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy,as well as the brushwork,calligraphy and chapter methods to provide guidance for the author’s calligraphy creation.In the process of imitation,whether it is the imitation of master Gu type or the imitation of Dinggu in a new form,it is the only way to learn books.Only by adding the consciousness concept of "my God" on the basis of learning from Gu can we truly explore our own unique path in learning books.Copying changes from focusing only on copying "image" to finding ourselves in the process of copying and giving play to our own heart.Then refine the "god" of calligraphy internalized in his calligraphy works,so as to express his aesthetic intention in emotional attitude and values. |
