This paper takes calligraphers lived in the late Ming sort out the learning situation of Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy as the main point,discussing the Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy in the late Ming how to be accepted.Firstly,it analyses the collection of Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy in the late Ming Dynasty from the collection of carvings and single carvings,and verifies the selection of carvings in the late Ming carvings for the borrowing of the original version and inscription information in the collection of Wang’s calligraphy.Further,the analysis of the appreciation of Wang Xizhi’s representative works,such as "Lanting Preface","Huangting Sutra","Set of Wang Shengjiao Preface" as an example.Secondly,the paper also discusses the Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy theory how to be accepted in the context of the late Ming period.Finally,from the aspect of calligraphic practice,the acceptance of Wang Xizhi’s calligraphic practice in the late Ming period is reflected through the comparison of Dong Qichang and Wang Duo’s practice of copying Wang Xizhi’s representative——Qinghe post.Overall,the study of the acceptance of Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy by late Ming calligraphers not only conducives to a more comprehensive understanding of Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy but also has some significance to the continued study and development of Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy and the history of calligraphy in the Ming dynasty.
