The Relationship Between Future Time Perspective And Mobile Phone Addiction

Mobile phone has become an indispensable tool in people's life,and teenagers have gradually become an important group of mobile phone users.Mobile phones not only bring convenience to teenagers' lives,but also have a lot of negative effects on teenagers'physical and mental health.In recent years,the research on teenagers'mobile phone use is on the rise,and the most research is teenagers' mobile phone addiction behavior.Mobile phone addiction will have a negative impact on adolescents' physiological,psychological and social adaptation.This paper uses two studies to explore the factors affecting adolescents' mobile phone addiction,and on this basis,carries out intervention research.In the first study,650 adolescents from two middle schools in Wuhan were surveyed by using" adolescent future time perspective scale","time management disposition scale" and "mobile phone addiction index" to understand the current situation of adolescents' future time perspective,mobile phone addiction and time management disposition,and to explore the relationship between future time perspective and mobile phone addiction and time management disposition in which the mechanism of action,and to provide a theoretical basis for the intervention of adolescent mobile phone addiction.Study 2,on the basis of study 1,conducted a group counseling intervention study to investigate whether time management group counseling has significant effect on teenagers' mobile phone addiction.The specific results are as follows:1.The present situation of mobile phone addiction among adolescents is relatively optimistic.There are significant differences in grade,place of origin and whether or not they have only one child.Teenagers from rural areas are more likely to be mobile phone addicted than those from urban areas.Teenagers in grade one and grade two are more likely to be mobile phone addicted than those in grade eight.Only children are more likely to be mobile phone addicted than non-only children.2.There are demographic differences in adolescents' time management disposition.Boys show better time management tendencies than girls.The only-child's time monitoring concept and time efficacy are significantly higher than non-only-child's.3.There are differences in demographic variables in different dimensions of adolescent future time perspective.Specifically,in the future,boys are more negative for the future,and students from rural areas are more negative for the future.In the future persistence,boys are more pronounced than girls in the future persistence,and there are significant differences among grades.The scores from high to low are in turn:In the eighth grade,the first grade and the second grade of senior high school,the only child shows a higher level of future persistence than the non-only child;in the future planning,the scores of each grade from high to low are in the eighth grade,the second grade and the first grade.4.There is a significant positive correlation between teenagers'mobile phone addiction and future negativity,future confusion,a significant negative correlation between teenagers' future persistence,future clarity and future plan.The time management disposition of adolescents and its dimensions are negatively correlated with mobile phone addiction.Future passivity,future confusion and time management disposition and all dimensions are significantly negatively correlated,while future positive,future persistence,future clarity,future planning and time management disposition and all dimensions are significantly positively correlated.5.The future of mobile phone addiction was significantly predicted by teenagers'positive future,future persistence,future planning and future confusion;the future of mobile phone addiction was significantly predicted by teenagers' time management disposition;the future of mobile phone addiction was significantly predicted by their time management disposition;Future positive and future confusion have a direct impact on mobile phone addiction.Time management disposition plays a complete mediating role between future persistence,future planning and mobile phone addiction,and plays a partial mediating role in future positive,future confusion and mobile phone addiction.6.Group counseling with the theme of time management can promote the improvement of teenagers' time management tendency,and can effectively reduce teenagers' mobile phone addiction tendency.
