| Discourse linguistics emerged in the middle of the 20 th century.Discourse linguistics focuses on paragraphs larger than sentences.Cohesion is one of the important research direction of text linguistics,has in recent years the attention of linguists,therefore,in this paper,based on the predecessors’ research achievements of the discourse linguistics,based on the cohesive theory of halliday and Hu Zhuanglin,alexei DE waal research realistic novel of the sinking of the ark of the discourse cohesive devices,this paper,by means of deduction,To analyze the grammatical cohesion,lexical cohesion and contextual cohesion in the novel The Sunken Ark.It also tries to combine cohesion theory with specific Russian texts,deeply explores the characteristics and functions of cohesion devices in the novel The Sunken Ark,discusses the author Alexei Varlamov’s language characteristics and intention,and feels the author’s unique language charm and profound language skills.The thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction mainly expounds the source of the topic,research significance,research review and innovation points of this paper.The text consists of four chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds the basic theories of discourse linguistics,including the development of discourse linguistics,the definition of discourse and the basic contents of cohesion theory.The second chapter mainly analyzes the grammatical cohesive devices in The Sunken Ark from the perspectives of reference,substitution and omission.Chapter three focuses on the analysis of lexical cohesion in The Sunken Ark,and studies the three lexical cohesion means of word repetition,synonym and antonym.Chapter four analyzes the contextual cohesion of the novel from three aspects: linguistic context,cultural context and situational context.The conclusion part summarizes the results obtained in this paper. |
