Xie Yingsu(word Guanqiao)was one of the representatives of Fujianese painters who traveled to Taiwan during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty,and was known as "the pioneer of Taiwan’s calligraphy and painting circles." The cultural and artistic exchanges between the two sides of the strait have become more active with the gradual development of the political economy.This social atmosphere enabled the traditional literati painting and calligraphy of the Central Plains to smoothly enter the Taiwan region where the art development was not yet developed at that time.Promote the development of Taiwanese painting and calligraphy.Xie Yingsu not only devoted his life to studying painting and calligraphy,but also resolutely joined the army in times of national crisis,assisted officials and displayed military talents.His social group and the experience of his staff career have an important effect on his painting and calligraphy achievements.Xie Yingsu thus brought his painting and calligraphy art and ideas to Taiwan.While achieving his own painting and calligraphy,he also promoted the development of Taiwanese literati painting.Development has made great contributions to cultural and artistic exchanges between Fujian and Taiwan.This article takes Xie Yingsu ’s career and artistic achievements as the main direction,aims to clarify the influence of Fujian painter Xie Yingsu on Taiwanese art,and analyzes the ways and channels of Taiwanese art and cultural exchanges between Fujian painters represented by Xie Yingsu and Taiwan.On the basis of this case,I think about the influence and promotion of the painter’s political identity on his artistic achievements,and discuss and think about the research methods and perspectives of the future cross-strait cultural and artistic exchanges,and even the world’s cultural communication and exchanges.The article is divided into five parts:the first chapter is the introduction,which gives an overall overview of the main content and direction of the research;the second chapter discusses the artist Xie Yingsu’s different stages of artistic development and the formation and cultivation of literati painter literacy,and combs the painter Xie Yingsu’s calligraphy and painting art study The development context of Xie Yingsu,and then comment on the comprehensiveness of his literati and painter literacy,and make a more accurate assessment of his social status and social influence during the Ming and Qing dynasties;Chapter Three discusses the transformation of Xie Yingsu’s identity from painter to assistant To explore the reasons,first discuss the identity,status and role of an aide in the Ming and Qing dynasties,and the basic qualities of being an aide,and then discuss the life experience of Xie Yingsu’s career as an aide and the feelings of literati,his painting and calligraphy friendship,and the causes and consequences of crossing Taiwan.To sort out and comment,and use this to gain a deeper understanding of the role of Xie Yingsu ’ s assistantship in promoting his artistic achievements;Chapter Four discusses the influence of Qing Dynasty literati painting and calligraphy art represented by Xie Yingsu on Taiwan,and first sorts out Taiwanese painting and calligraphy in the Ming and Qing Dynasties The development of art,analyze the reasons for Xie Yingsu’s huge influence on Taiwan,and then explain the influence of Xie Yingsu on Taiwan’s painting and calligraphy art after his stay in Taiwan and the continuity of its influence,and finally Xie Yingsu’s career and artistic achievements Summarize the impact of Taiwan,highlighting the influence and promotion of painter’s political status on the dissemination of art in the special period of social development,and hope to provide case analysis for the study of cultural and artistic communication and exchanges between Fujian and Taiwan,as well as for future culture and art Communication research is inspiring.
