With the significant rise of China’s comprehensive national strength,Chinese,as an important medium for spreading China’s culture,has gradually gained a firm foothold on the world language stage.More and more foreigners have taken the initiative to understand and learn Chinese.Under the atmosphere of this environment,the demand for teaching Chinese as a foreign language has gradually increased,and national and localized teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language have become a research hotspot for experts and scholars at home and abroad.In the history of world Chinese language education,Chinese language education is also one of the very important contents.Indonesia,as one of the countries with a long history of overseas Chinese,although it started using Chinese earlier,the time for formal Indonesian Chinese education was short,and Indonesian Chinese education was in a relatively backward state under the influence of some political and historical factors.In recent years,the political landscape in Indonesia has changed,and the local demand for Chinese language learning has become increasingly high,leading to the recovery and development of Indonesian Chinese language education.As an important medium for learning Chinese as a foreign language,Chinese textbooks have also been re valued,written,and used.Various Chinese language textbooks have emerged in large numbers,but with them comes the quality and targeted issues of relevant Chinese language textbooks for foreigners.How to compile Chinese language textbooks that are universal,scientific,hierarchical,and standardized for localization in Indonesia has become one of the main topics.Grammar is a fundamental architectural rule and usage rule in many language learning.In Chinese as a foreign language,the significance of grammar teaching is to enable Chinese learners to correctly understand and use the structural rules and rules of Chinese fundamentally.Grammar is also crucial in second language learning.The position and role of grammar items in language learning has always been the focus of teaching research.It exists not only in domestic English teaching,but also in Chinese as a foreign language.As a key teaching medium,the reasonable selection and arrangement of grammar items in textbooks is the focus of textbook research and compilation.Based on relevant investigations and studies organized by predecessors,this article selects two sets of primary Chinese language textbooks.Taking the Chinese language textbook "Zhong Wen" compiled by Jinan University and the Chinese language textbook "Thousand Island Chinese" compiled by Indonesia as the research objects,by comparing and analyzing the grammar items of the two sets of Chinese language textbooks "Zhong Wen" and "Thousand Island Chinese",combined with the grammar standards of the new version of the "International Chinese Education Chinese Language Level Standards"(2021edition),this study explores the advantages and disadvantages of grammar arrangement in Indonesian local Chinese language textbooks,Summarize and propose possible suggestions for improving the writing of grammar items in textbooks.Provide some reference for the further development of grammar related content in Indonesian native Chinese textbooks in the future.The main content of this article is as follows:Firstly,the introduction section provides an overview of the historical development of Indonesian Chinese language education and demonstrates the importance of studying Indonesian Chinese language textbooks;Focus on organizing and analyzing the current research on the grammar part of Chinese as a foreign language textbooks,as well as the research on Indonesian native Chinese as a foreign language textbooks;Further propose and introduce the two sets of textbooks studied in this article;Finally,elaborate on relevant research methods.Secondly,conduct a comparative analysis and research on the grammar items of the two sets of textbooks,"Chinese" and "Thousand Island Mandarin".Based on relevant theories,a comparative analysis of the grammar items in two sets of textbooks includes four aspects: quantity,selection and sorting,key grammar point segmentation,and repetition.Organize and compare the data,and evaluate the scientific and standardized grammar items of each of the two sets of textbooks.Finally,in the conclusion section,a summary of the comparative content and analysis of the overall grammar project in this article is provided,summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of the two,and proposing feasible suggestions for the compilation of grammar projects in Indonesian localized Chinese textbooks.At the same time,a reflection is made on the shortcomings and shortcomings of this study.
