| In "The Origin of the Family,Private Property and the State"(hereinafter referred to as "Origin"),the theory of "two kinds of production" explained by Engels has important research value.By clearly putting forward the theory of "two kinds of production",Engels emphasized the state of slavery in human history and explored a way out for human emancipation. In this regard, this thesis provides a new explanatory model for the theory of "two kinds of production",that is,the essence of the theory of "two kinds of production" is to reveal the domination of the relationship between things and people. This is helpful to understand the meaning of human existence in the developed "production of material materials",and is also in line with the value pursuit of the materialist historical view for the road of human emancipation. This thesis sorts out the theory of "two kinds of production" in the classical texts of Marx and Engels, and points out the shortcomings of the mainstream view.Based on classical texts, this thesis explains that "man’s own production" is always present in the theories of Marx and Engels. The academic interpretation of the theory of "two kinds of production" regards man as the object of history, fails to follow the basic principle of historical materialism in which man is the subject of history, and fundamentally "sees things without seeing people".In this regard, this thesis argues that the theory of "two kinds of production" is embedded in historical materialism from the three aspects of the starting point, connotation and value purpose of the theory of "two kinds of production".This thesis argues that the essence of the theory of "two kinds of production" is the domination of the relationship between things and the relationship between people, and it is Engels’ search for the way to overcome alienation. The development from the first and only form, the family,to class differentiation and the emergence of the state shows that the whole content of history is human social relations. The emergence of private property gives the relationship of things an independent appearance and dominates the relationship between people.Engels once again revealed the alienated state of man by expounding "man’s own production" in "Origin",thus pointing out that man’s domination of production and domination of his own social relations is the realistic way to achieve the liberation of "man’s own production".This thesis reveals the significance of the theory of "two kinds of production" and points out that it provides important theoretical guidance for the liberation of families and the elimination of classes. The fundamental purpose of the theory of "two kinds of production" is to abolish private ownership, eliminate the independent appearance of material relations, and restore man’s dominance over his own social relations.Whether it is Lukács’ materialization, biopolitics,or Rosa’s "new alienation",they are all concrete manifestations of the above-mentioned alienation phenomena, and they are all alienated structures rooted in capitalist society.Contemporary capitalist society is still typical of the relationship between things ruling the relationship between people.Reexamining Engels’ theory of "two kinds of production" will help us further think about the subjective position of man in history. |
