Research On Cultural Confidence Of Young Urban Migrant Workers From Outside The City

Young urban migrant workers from outside the city are the organic composition of Chinese youth in the new era.Their attitude towards "socialist culture with Chinese characteristics" directly affects the process of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way.The results of field sampling survey and statistical analysis of data show that: at present,there are five problems in the concept understanding of "socialist culture with Chinese characteristics" among young migrant workers in urban areas: fragmentation,dualism of value orientation,abstraction of existence,taking personal interests as the evaluation scale,and cultural confidence and self-consciousness.The direct causes of these problems are the separation of the totality of cultural self-confidence,the denial of the unity of the main body of cultural self-confidence,the neglect of the practicality of the construction of cultural confidence,the arrogation of the sense of judging the value of cultural confidence,and the failure to grasp the Marxist thinking method.However,if we take "dialectical materialism and historical materialism" as an investigation,the problems and direct causes of the cultural confidence of young migrant workers in urban areas are,in the final analysis,the contradictions between their practice and cognition,social existence and social consciousness.Different from other youth groups,young migrant workers in cities are mainly engaged in the production of specific material materials and the provision of basic services for their exchange."Sinking in production" is the basic feature of their survival and development.They have a strong desire to pursue all-round progress and achieve a better life.However,their thoughts and actions are determined by the economic,social and humanistic environment in which they live.Their mode of production and way of life directly restricts their mode of thinking.It is their cognitive law to gain an understanding of life,the country and the world from their "environment".Therefore,the way to cultivate and enhance the "cultural confidence" of young migrant workers in cities must be integrated into their production and close to their lives,especially to care for and solve their worries and thoughts.To cultivate and strengthen the cultural confidence of migrant workers in cities,we should use truth to eliminate falseness,promote the construction of ideological discourse power of "cultural confidence",and eliminate "falseness" with "truth".We should use history to increase credibility,promote social grass-roots organizations to carry out "four histories" education activities,and guide "correct view" with "correct history";We should guide the cultural construction of non-public economic organizations to improve and cultivate "cultural emotion" with "culture confidence".We should be reassured by law,protect the basic cultural rights and interests of young migrant workers in cities according to law,and enhance "cultural confidence" by "rule of law".We should use the basic principles of Marxism to strengthen the education of Marxist thinking method for young workers,and nourish "faith" with "science".With diligence into the letter,carry forward the spirit of labor,creation and dedication to cultivate the new style of The Times,and build "cultural confidence" with "self-improvement".In short,it is necessary to make young migrant workers in cities understand socialism with Chinese characteristics as their own cause.
