This study focuses on the case of Zhao Xiang township middle school to analyze the phenomenon of how "migrant workers' kids get migrant workers' work",This paper first analyzes how the township middle school influences students' future choices through mainstream education mechanisms.Then the paper investigates how the future choices of migrant workers' kids are influenced by their parents' career.On the whole,this study aims to understand the culture of Chinese migrant workers' children today.When Zhao Xiang township middle school children are influenced by their parents' culture,as well as the dominant culture,the problems and difficulties with which they are facing,reflect the structure of the whole society.It is a cultural reproduction process for the children of migrant workers to inherit their fathers' jobs.In this process,Zhao Xiang township middle school plays an important role,which is an important institution for the reproduction of rural society.Rural schools are essentially city-oriented,and the main goal of education is to serve urbanization.Through the mechanism of educational diversion,different groups of students walk into the city in different ways.No matter the students are naughty students or good students,their final destinies are the same.In addition to the influence of school education mechanism,attention should also be paid to the parents' culture of different groups of migrant workers.Their sense of marginalization and their sense of identity for themselves are all influential to the construction of their children's culture.In a word,the paper tries to explore the relationship between the dominant social culture,rural education,migrant worker's culture and the culture of migrant workers' kids,to answer why migrant worker's kids get their fathers' job..
