Research On The Single Item Revisionary Entries Of The XinHuaZiDian(11th-12th Edition)

XinHuaZiDian(《新华字典》)is a small Chinese dictionary with the largest circulation and the most extensive influence in China.From Wuji Xiao Zi Dian to the current 12th edition,the contents of each edition reflects the living conditions of the people at that time,and the revision of each edition reflects the development of the times.The compilation and revision of XinHuaZiDian adhere to the standardization and practicality,scientific and universal,it has great cultural influence.On the basis of a comprehensive investigation of the 11th edition,the 12th edition has made in-depth analysis,scientific induction and serious improvement,and has revised the contents of the historical edition in many aspects.This paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter is the Introduction,which describes the research object,research scope,research value and current research results of the academic community.Chapter two to chapter four is the central part of the paper,which analyzes the items revised and improved by the 12 th edition of XinHuaZiDian and makes a detailed classification.The second chapter discusses the revision of "prefix" in the 12 th edition of XinHuaZiDian.The number of revisions to the prefix entries is large and the changes are complex.This paper makes detailed statistics and discusses the reasons for the revisions and the problems that still exist.The third chapter discusses the adjustment of the 12 th edition of "matching example".If the matching example belongs to a specific prefix,it will be analyzed in combination with the prefix,and its addition,deletion,change and other situations will be classified and summarized.The fourth chapter discusses the "single item revision" of the polyphonic word items,including the purposeful addition and deletion,the content of the interpretation and the adjustment of the examples.The fifth chapter discusses the items in the 12 th edition of XinHuaZiDian that need to be further revised and improved,and points out the reasons and suggestions.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,summarizing the general characteristics of the revision of the 12 th edition of XinHuaZiDian to the 11 th edition.
