A Study On The Semantic Meaning Of Psychological Verbs In Guo Yu

The research center of the history of Chinese linguistics is to explore the meaning of Chinese words.Mr.Wang Ning summarized the relevant theories and methods of traditional exegetical and put forward the theory of Semantic center.In addition,the study of special books is the basis of the study of the history of Chinese vocabulary,so this paper chooses Guo Yu as the research corpus.The meaning of words is hierarchical,so it is necessary to put words into the language system to observe and explain.Therefore,combining the previous research results and exegetical methods,this paper takes the psychological verbs in the book as the research object,extracts their semantic features through font and etymology analysis,and puts the extracted features back into the specific context for verification,so as to complete the semantic exploration of a psychological verb,and then better understand the meaning and connotation of the sentences in Guo Yu.The article mainly consists of the following three part:The introduction first introduces the origin of the topic from the corpus value and psychological verb research value of Guo Yu;Secondly,this paper reviews the research status of psychological verbs and the lexical research in Guo Yu.Finally,the research ideas and methods are explained.In the main body,Mr.Hu Yushu and Mr.Fan Xiao hold that psychological verbs represent the meaning of mental activities or mental states in the aspects of emotion,intention,cognition,feeling,thinking,etc.,so as to sort out a total of 51 psychological verbs in Guo Yu.Based on the classification and semantic standard of psychological process,psychological verbs are divided into three categories: emotional psychological verbs,attitude psychological verbs and cognitive psychological verbs,and each category is divided into one chapter.At the end of each chapter,the synonyms of psychological verbs are classified into sections.First,the use cases of psychological verbs in the Guo Yu and other pre-Qin literature are listed.Then,the semantic features of psychological verbs are extracted through the analysis of font and etymology.The conclusion,by analyzing the use cases of Guo Yu and other pre-Qin literature,finds that the semantic features of psychological verbs affect their specific use contexts.Even the psychological verbs with the same or similar meanings have different priorities in their use situations,and there are slight differences.
