A Comparative Study On Style Of News Titles Of Current Political And People’s Livelihood In Shijiazhuang Daily

Both the current political news and the people’s livelihood news are related to the interests of the people,but the readers pay different attention to them.The title is the concentration and essence of a piece of news,including the key information elements.Shijiazhuang Daily is one of the earliest urban newspapers in China,which has a long time and a relatively fixed style.Taking Shijiazhuang Daily as the source of corpus,this article selects the titles of current political news and people’s livelihood news as the research objects.It uses quantitative,analysis and induction,comparative research and other methods to describes and elaborates the headlines of political news and people’s livelihood news from four perspectives: vocabulary,grammar,rhetoric and discourse.On this basis,it compares and analyzes the different characteristics of the headlines from different perspectives.Finally,it uses Adaptation Theory to explore the reasons for the differences.This article is divided into seven parts:The first part is the introduction.This part firstly introduces the reason for the selection of the topic,and its research value.secondly,it collates and summarizes the existing studies on news headlines in the academic field.The current research on news headlines is mainly carried out from three perspectives: style,pragmatic and cognition.finally,it introduces the research content and methods of the article and explains the sources of the corpus.The second part is the introduction of the related concept definition and theoretical framework.This part mainly elaborates on the related concepts of news headlines,and defines the concept of current politics and people’s livelihood news headlines.In addition,it also introduces Adaptation Theory and Style.The third part is a specific study of the lexical features of current politics and livelihood news headlines.This part analyzes the tendency of current politics and livelihood news headlines in choosing different vocabularies,including the frequency and types of use,starting from five aspects: abbreviations,count words,foreign words,buzzwords,and old words with new meanings.On this basis,the differences and reasons of the two are compared and analyzed.The fourth part is to carry out a specific study of the grammatical characteristics of current politics and livelihood news headlines.This part analyzes the tendency of current politics and livelihood news headlines in phrases,sentences and A:B,the tendency to choose in the four sentence types of statement,imperative,question,and exclamatory,and the use of special usage.On this basis,the differences and reasons of the two are compared and analyzed.The fifth part is a specific study of the rhetorical characteristics of current politics and livelihood news headlines.This part describes the characteristics of current politics and livelihood news headlines in detail from both positive rhetoric and negative rhetoric,and compares the differences in rhetorical patterns,word refinement,and a sentence choice between the two,and analyzes their reasons.The sixth part is a specific study of the chapter characteristics of current politics and livelihood news headlines.This part discusses the articulation between topics and auxiliary topics in news headlines,explains the differences between current politics and livelihood news headlines in terms of chapters,and analyzes the reasons.The seventh part is the concluding remarks.This part is the conclusion of the article.
