| Movement coordination is a comprehensive physical quality, which plays an important role in promoting the overall development of children’s physique.According to the relevant data and some previous research results show that people from 6 to 12 years old is the best stage to promote the development of motor coordination ability, after 12 years old,the development will be relatively stable. Therefore,in the teaching process,we can select a kind of students’ favorite sports to carry out training, the children’s motor coordination ability to the maximum,so that children can better develop their motor coordination ability, which has a very important impact on the future development of children.Latin dance is a new sport.Since it was introduced to our country,it has been popular with many people, especially with many children. In this study,80 students(28 males(35%),52 females(65%))from Zigong Wanjia Hao Art School with no basic Latin dance were selected as experimental subjects. They were randomly divided into experimental group 3 and control group 1,with 20 students in each group.Mathematical statistics method and comparative analysis method were used to process and analyze experimental data, analyzing the influence gap of three different Latin dances, rumba, chacha and cowboy,on the coordination ability of 8-10 years old children, and analyzing the variance effect size between different groups. The experimental independent variables of this study are the training of three different kinds of Latin dance, and the balance ability, rhythm ability and reaction ability of the motor coordination ability are the dependent variables.Groups were experimental group and control group. The reaction ability was tested by cross jumping. The balance ability was tested by walking on the balance beam and closing eyes on one leg.Rhythmic ability was tested by rhythmic running. To explore the influence of Latin dance practice on coordination ability, and analyze the effect of the experimental group and the control group on the coordination ability of the children before and after the experiment.Through the research of this paper, the following results are obtained:(1)After the intervention, the motor coordination ability of the experimental subjects was improved, and the order of improvement was jive > cha-cha,rumba >control group;(2)After the intervention, the coordination ability of the experimental subjects improved in three dimensions, specifically: in the dimension of balance: cha-cha,jive >rumba > control group; In terms of rhythm dimension: cha-cha,rumba > jive > control group; In terms of response dimension: jive > cha-cha,rumba > control group;(3)There was no statistical significance between male and female students in the improvement of motor coordination ability and coordination ability after experimental intervention. The following conclusions are drawn from the research:(1)Latin dance practice has a positive effect on the motor coordination ability of children aged 8-10;(2)Different Latin dances have different effects on the coordination ability of different dimensions, among which jive has the highest effect on the coordination ability of 8-10 years old children. |
