Children are in an important stage of growth and development during their teenage years.Their height and weight increase with age.Children in this period have less bone mineral salts and low bone hardness. They are easily deformed due to pressure from outside gravity. At the same time, students' academic pressure has been on the rise in recent years.Children's writing time has increased, and the weight of school bags has increased year-on-year.As a result, many students' spines have undergone deformation. However, most students' spine deformation has not reached the stage requiring surgical treatment. How to use exercise therapy to reduce the occurrence of spine problems is the focus of research. With the vigorous development of campus sports, the state advocates that elementary and middle school students step out of the classroom and participate in sports. However, due to the singularity of sports events, the number of girls participating in sports has not increased significantly.Latin dance has been loved by many women because of its physical and mental health. At the same time, its lively music and dynamic dance have stimulated the interest of young girls. This study mainly focused on the influence of Latin dance on the spine morphology of children aged 6-12 years.A detailed experimental investigation was conducted on the scoliosis and the degree of spine activity and the relevant conclusions were drawn. In this study,41 children aged 6-12 years were trained in Latin dance for 18 weeks by literature, experiment and test.Because of interest and enrollment, the subjects were all girls, and the scoliosis angle of all the students was less than 7 °,which was a normal range. The spine scan spinal meter was used to measure the scoliosis, spinal motion and asymmetry of head, shoulder and hip in children. The activity of lateral bending and horizontal rotation was analyzed by SPSS 19.0.Research results:1.After 18 weeks of Latin dance practice, the children's scoliosis angle decreased and there is a very significant difference, indicating that Latin dance has a significant improvement in children's scoliosis.2.There was no severe kyphosis in the spinal kyphosis in the pre experimental children. After 18 weeks of Latin dance exercises, the spinal kyphosis angle of the children was decreased, which was related to the need for the lift up and straight chest in Latin dance.3.Spinal motion is an important part of spinal functional evaluation. After the experiment, there were significant changes in lateral bending, extension and horizontal rotation of the lumbar spine, but the extent of the changes in the cervical spine flexionwas small. It may be that the cervical vertebrae is often in the extension state,Latin dance exercises make the cervical vertebrae at all times in a backward state, reducing the extent of forward flexion.4.The asymmetry of the head, shoulder and hip reflects the problem of children's body inclination.Through 18 weeks of Latin dance practice, the tilt of the head, shoulder and hip of the children is obviously decreased, which plays an important role in maintaining the shape of the spine.Research findings: 1.Latin dance has a significant effect on reducing scoliosis in children and can reduce the incidence of scoliosis. Therefore,Latin dance is promoted to small and medium-sized campuses and it is important to promote students' participation in sports.2.After 18 weeks of Latin dance practice, the children's spinal kyphosis angle has decreased significantly, indicating that long-term dance practice will make students develop the habit of raising their heads and chests. However,in practice, the normal curvature of the spine should be guaranteed and the practice of deliberately raising the chest should be reduced.3.The asymmetry of the head, shoulders, and hips is declining, indicating that Latin dance can improve the symmetry of the trunk and reduce the occurrence of abnormal spine morphology in children.Parents should recognize the importance of children's spinal problems and urge children to practice Latin dance.
