| As social and economic development has brought about an increase in the material standard of living, people’s dietary needs have shifted from the satisfaction of food and clothing to the pursuit of higher quality dietary needs, and dietary health has gradually become a topic of increasing concern. As unreasonable or unhealthy dietary problems can easily lead to a series of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and obesity,we are constantly reminded to maintain a reasonable and healthy diet routine. This makes it difficult for users to judge whether their daily meals are scientifically sound and nutritionally balanced, and as a result, many health apps have been created to assist users with their daily diets and make dietary decisions. At the same time,as users become more health conscious, the demand for dietary services and dietary experiences also grows. At present, most of the diet apps on the market are based on algorithms or functions as selling points, ignoring the user experience of the products, resulting in poor diet experience and failure to provide quality services. Therefore,it is of deep significance how to promote the development of personalised diet from the perspective of user experience and provide users with a better diet service experience. This thesis is based on Garrett’s User Experience Element Model to study the design of a personalized diet recommendation app,as follows:(1)Analyse the characteristics, functional mechanisms and content production of food and drink APPs,match and compare them with Garrett’s user experience element model, and construct a user experience element design model for personalised drink and food recommendation APPs.(2)The commonalities and differences of major food and beverage app products in the market were analysed.Combining quantitative questionnaires and qualitative interviews, the user experience problems in food and beverage apps were analysed and summarised, and the problems were divided into five levels of user experience element models according to attributes, and the potential experience needs were analysed according to the problems.(3)Based on the user experience demand model proposed in the previous article, the user experience design strategy of the personalised diet recommendation APP is proposed from the perspective of design. There are five levels in the model, and specific design methods are proposed according to the content elements of each level to provide reference and ideas for the overall design of the APP.(4)The multi-layered elements and working methods based on the user experience model provide a theoretical foundation and support for the design and innovation of healthy eating APPs;from the perspective of user experience,it explores how to create experiential eating health for consumers and align the design of personalised diet recommendation APPs with consumers’ eating practices. It is established that only through the rational application of user experience design principles can design practices be better advanced so that personalised diet recommendation APPs can better provide quality services to users and help them achieve the goal of healthy eating. |
