As one of the national intangible cultural heritages,taohuayu woodcut New Year painting has extremely high folk value and artistic value,which is a legacy of farming society.In the modern urban civilization,people's aesthetic and life concepts have changed dramatically,and the number and frequency of woodcut New Year paintings are greatly reduced in traditional festivals.The speed of urbanization is speeding up,the original ecological farming environment on which the New Year painting is based has no longer exist,and the woodcut New Year paintings are dying out.In today's digital age,how to effectively protect and carry on the woodcut New Year paintings is a problem to be considered.With the development of interactive technologies such as Virtual Reality(VR),digital protection of New Year pictures is going from simple digital storage to digital protection and experience.Virtual reality shows the combination of New Year pictures with the Internet and virtual reality technology to break the space and time limit of the display of the New Year paintings,so as to realize the maximum sharing and utilization of annual painting resources.Through the interactive,immersive and imaginative features of virtual reality,the virtual reality display,the digitized interpretation of the content and the virtual interactive experience of the production process of the New Year painting are realized.This paper studies the virtual reality technology,interactive design combined with the yellow house woodcut New Year pictures,user experience,interactive design method and theory,suzhou folk scene of New Year pictures related to digital representation,design and production smooth,easy to use,to experience the good digital representation systems.Using virtual reality technology and space display design method to lookup the artistic features of woodcut New Year pictures,folklore connotation,new production techniques such as the cultural connotation is passed to the people behind the pictures,in the form of interactive experience inspire interest in new culture,and promote the protection and inheritance of the yellow house woodcut New Year pictures.
