| Taiyuan Ancient County City is located on top of the ruins of Jinyang Ancient City.Some ancient architectural relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties are preserved in the ancient county city,and many folk festival activities continue in the city,highlighting the historical and cultural significance of ancient Jinyang,as well as regional characteristics and culture.Therefore,this article uses visual language to analyze and study the traditional graphic and cultural elements of Taiyuan Ancient County City.Firstly,based on the traditional cultural and historical background of the ancient county town of Taiyuan,a field survey was conducted to collect and analyze the architectural graphic cultural elements and folk festival activity graphic cultural elements in the city,summarizing their modeling characteristics,aesthetic language characteristics,and cultural implications.Secondly,modern design techniques such as the regular arrangement of graphic elements are used to reorganize and construct.Through the case study of the design work "Ancient City New Language",graphic cultural elements with morphological beauty,decorative beauty,and beautiful meanings in the ancient county city are extracted and presented in the design work.Finally,in the visual language of traditional graphic cultural elements in the ancient county town of Taiyuan,the design techniques of "form","meaning",and "spirit" are combined with a single graphic element and multiple graphic elements to create a new graphic context,which can preserve the essence of traditional culture to the greatest extent,present a new visual effect,and express specific aesthetic consciousness to the audience.Transforming the traditional visual graphic and cultural elements of the ancient county town of Taiyuan into visual effects that conform to modern design aesthetics,utilizing the presentation methods of modern communication media to endow new artistic vitality and showcase its unique artistic charm. |
